My experience with the staff at the hotel was fantastic - they were incredibly accommodating and provided excellent service. However, I was disappointed with the room and especially the bed. In comparison to other NH hotels I have stayed at, this one fell short in terms of quality and is not deserving of the NH name.
During my stay in Barcelona, I encountered some challenges at the hotel. I had to rearrange the furniture in order to reach the only two outlets available in the room. The bathroom door showed signs of water damage and there was evidence of mold on the ceiling. The wireless internet connection was extremely poor, making it difficult to use. Additionally, whenever a nearby toilet was flushed, I could hear the water running.
The hotel was a good choice for our stay in Barcelona. The staff at the reception were very welcoming and helpful, especially the gentleman whose name I believe was Raúl. He was extremely kind and attentive to our needs. However, I must mention that the bed was a bit short for taller individuals. The location of the hotel was convenient, about a 10-15 minute walk from the nearest subway station. Although we didn't have breakfast included, there were plenty of brunch places nearby to choose from.
The NH Barcelona Entenza Hotel was a pleasant and well-maintained accommodation with delightful staff. Its convenient location near two metro stations was highly advantageous. However, the wifi service was lacking and it would have been nice to have a tea and coffee station available in the room. In addition, we had to rearrange the furniture upon our arrival as it felt a bit cramped.
NH Entenza is a great choice for anyone looking for an affordable stay in Barcelona! The two closest Metro stations are just a 10 minute walk away, allowing for quick access to all the city's main attractions. From those stations, Park Guell is just a short bus ride away and the staff at reception will be happy to help you navigate the public transport system. Despite being reasonably priced, the hotel is incredibly clean and the staff were kind, accommodating and helpful. There are a couple of mini-markets nearby, so if you want to save money, make sure to pick up snacks and drinks from there rather than from the hotel's mini-bar, which is expensive. Highly recommended!
