Niu Barcelona Hotel

My partner and I had an incredible hotel experience during our three-week stay in Barcelona. We had the pleasure of getting to know the friendly and welcoming staff, including Deborah, Alejandra, Jave, and Marco. Our room was always spotless and the balcony provided a cozy view of the Rambla de Raval. Plus, we were lucky enough to be there for the La Marcé festival which was unforgettable. It's a shame that some people have left negative reviews. As someone familiar with Barcelona, I can confidently say that it's a city that comes to life at night, with dinner typically starting around 8 or 9 pm, not 5 pm. And the neighborhood was safe, we even became friendly with some of the local shop owners and restaurant owners. Don't let the undeserved negative reviews deter you from staying at this hotel and fully immersing yourself in the vibrant culture of Barcelona.

We stayed three nights at a hotel in Raval. Our room was nice, airy, and had a really comfortable bed. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was great. We could walk to La Ramblas in just a few minutes, and we took the chance to enjoy a nightcap in the bar across the square. Just be aware that Raval isn't the safest district in Barcelona, so make sure to watch your belongings and look out for beggars. We heard some arguments from the square opposite our window, but luckily we had no further issues.

I stayed with my daughter ? for 4 nights at the Niu Barcelona Hotel, and what a fantastic experience it was! The staff were exceptional ?, and the rooms were spotless and very comfortable - the pillow ? spray and ear plugs (which weren't even needed!) really made the stay special ?. Breakfast was delicious, and the rooftop pool was incredibly peaceful ?. The location was great for getting around - we walked to most places and for the couple of times we used the metro, it was only a 7 minute walk from our hotel ?‍♀️. I would highly recommend ? it!

This hotel was an absolute nightmare. From being situated next to a bustling nightlife club to being deceived by the staff, it left a lot to be desired. The staff had promised that we would get a refund for our remaining nights, but then they later denied this, leaving us with nothing. Couldn't have been more disappointed.

When we arrived we were welcomed really kindly, the staff assisted us with directions to get around the city and even offered to refill my water bottle. The room we had was a small double, but it was the perfect size for our stay, the bed was bigger than a double and the room was modern and even had a balcony. We were so pleased with the rooftop pool which was always quiet, it was a great way to cool off after an active day. The Ramblas was only a few minutes away and getting around was so easy. People had complained about the noise but it was quite peaceful. We would definitely recommend the Niu Barcelona Hotel and would stay there again if we were to visit Barcelona.
