This was our first experience at a hostel, and it was great for the price. The beds were very comfortable and each person had their own curtain for privacy. There was also a chest under each bed to store belongings. Although the showers could have been in better condition, and there was some noise from the pub downstairs, the atmosphere of meeting people from around the world - Morocco, Canada, Italy, Portugal, Colombia, Latvia, Brazil, Slovenia, Albania, China - was amazing. We played games, we had fun, we laughed and we partied - it was great.
This place was a total nightmare! The room smelled horrible, and it was right next to a terrace where people were screaming until 4 AM. The walls were incredibly thin, so you could easily hear what was happening in the next room over. The beds were very uncomfortable and there was no space for leaving your belongings – you could only use the small cage under the bed, but it was hard to get in and out due to the limited space between the beds. I can't recommend this accommodation.
I had a wonderful experience while staying at this hostel. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, and a volunteer even cooked a delicious dinner for free every night! The overall price was very reasonable. I felt both safe and at ease during my stay. Thanks for such a great trip, and I'll definitely be returning if I ever find myself in Barcelona again!
Terribly place! Very badly managed - the list of grievances I experienced while staying at the "No Limit Hostel Graffiti" in Barcelona is a long one. On arrival, I was charged taxes after having received a message stating that everything was included in the price. Furthermore, the hostel was listed on Hostelworld as having an evening meal included, yet that didn't exist. The place was very dirty and the kitchen equipment was broken and the limited selection of cups were all cracked. Little information was provided at check-in and the manager's response to my complaints was to suggest that I should write a negative review! It's clear that this hostel doesn't deserve anyone's business - it's an utter rip-off.
Refreshed review:
The No Limit Hostel Graffiti in Barcelona was a great place to stay! I really appreciated the warm welcome and hospitality of the receptionists; they gave me tips on the best places to visit and even showed me around the city's night life. It was awesome to meet travelers from around the world and share stories. The hostel atmosphere was perfect for travelers, and I definitely love it!
