My girlfriend and I stayed 4 nights in Barcelona following a transatlantic cruise. We had previously stayed at an H10 hotel and had a great experience. Our stay at this place was wonderful from beginning to end. The employees were friendly, professional, and experienced. Everyone worked together to make sure we had a great visit. From the moment we got out of the taxi and were personally welcomed by staff, to having our room made available early, to receiving chocolates and wine with a thank-you note - these little things really made a difference. Unfortunately, the air conditioning in our room was not working. When we returned from lunch, the room was very hot. As soon as we reported the problem, many staff members came to our room to explain the issue and possible solutions with the timeline for each. Eventually, we were assigned another room. When we got there, the room wasn't ready yet. The housekeeping manager came to check that we were settled in, and noticed the unmade bed with a badly stained mattress. He said they would immediately change the mattress out. We were then invited to the 9th floor rooftop bar to enjoy a complimentary drink while we waited. We were soon told that the room was ready for occupancy. As we unpacked, we received a card from the hotel manager, along with a plate of delicious chocolate-covered strawberries. We appreciated the note and the gesture. Breakfast was included, and it was amazing. Everything was made to order, and even the coffee was hot and fresh. The food choices were excellent and the staff was exceptional. Marsela stood out in particular, making sure all of our needs were taken care of. We'd book another stay just to see her again. This place is top-notch and we'd highly recommend it to anyone visiting Barcelona. It's a quick walk to restaurants, stores, and the metro. The room was huge and luxurious. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and accommodating, and we only wish we could have stayed longer!
Staying at this cozy spot was an absolute pleasure! The staff were so welcoming and friendly, it felt like we were part of the family ?. The breakfast was delicious and satisfying, with lots of options to choose from ?. The concierges were incredibly helpful, giving us wonderful advice and taking time to listen to us ?. Highly recommend this place ??!
What a delight it was to stay at The One Barcelona GL hotel! Not only were we graced with excellent service and luxurious rooms, but we were even more touched by the thoughtfulness of the staff. When our youngest son became ill, we received an outpouring of care and support from the hotel which included extra towels, help finding medication, and even special treats. Furthermore, the rooftop bar and restaurant were delightful additions, and the rain shower was the cherry on top! We are now eagerly anticipating our next visit to Spain and we are certain The One Barcelona GL will be number one on our list. Thank you for the most marvelous stay!
This hotel provides the perfect combination of 5-star service and a friendly feeling. The location is superb, with all major attractions in walking distance. The area also has the added bonus of feeling safe and attractive, even at night. We were guests for nearly a week, and the friendly members of staff made it feel like visiting old friends. The rooms were immaculate and the service impeccable, made even better with the added touch of turndown service. With reception and concierge staff going the extra mile, we feel compelled to plan another visit soon!
From the moment David offered us top notch recommendations and helped get us settled into our accommodation to the final minutes of enjoying breakfast with complimentary fruit and pastries while our baggage was kept safe in storage, we would hands down love to return! Not only is the location absolutely perfect tucked away in a quieter part of town while also within blocks of Casa Mila, the rooftop pool & solarium after a long day of walking and touring must be enjoyed! We enjoyed our room with the fluffiest hotel pillows, comfortable bed, marble shower with plenty of full length mirrors, American plug for hair straightener, wonderful lighting for getting ready for the day or night. The lobby is a wonderful perfume scent that will be forever etched in my memory. Thank you!
