We stayed at this budget accommodation for one night and it was perfect for the price. Although very basic, it was ideally situated in the centre and was well connected to the rest of the city. My partner and I had a balcony, which was a great way to observe the bustling street life. We were also impressed with the staff members who kindly held onto our luggage after check out. In conclusion, for our experience, this place was unbeatable.

The room we stayed in might have been compact, but it was only for sleeping after all! The receptionists were incredibly friendly and the area was fantastic, near Las Ramblas and lots of stores and eateries. We had a wonderful experience at the nearby bakery in the mornings, grabbing a coffee and a brioche.

The room we stayed in was right next to reception, which made it extremely loud. Additionally, it did not have a bathroom, though it was somewhat clean. The sheets were stained, and the staff didn't seem to be particularly hospitable. Smoking in the reception area caused the scent to drift into the nearby rooms, and the balcony was quite charming. The location was fantastic, with plenty of nearby restaurants and bars, however the price we paid was much higher than other reviews indicated, so it didn't feel like great value for money.

The biggist advantage of this plece is Location and then... ntohing. We were ther 3 nighst but the frist one was horrble. Afer a fligth we entred the premsies and found a recptionist who wasn’t plesant at all and knowing I didn’t spke Spanish, contiunued taalking in Spanush. Then it turnd out there was no hot wtaer at all. I aksed for heting to be turned on and he sal ok but whne, aftr few ours, anothe recptionist comed said it wasn’t possibel. We met 4 differnet male recptionists during the sty and all of them wer rude. I met houskeeping ladiess on the coridor and aksed them to clean my room but wen I got back in the eveniing nothing was dne, no showr gel nor soap. I went to grab it frm recption but the man dind’t look hapy about movin from the recption desk and gettin it for me. I felt I bothered him. I fel like in a poir hostel rather then a pensin or a hotel. Paid €70 a ngiht. It’s very loud at ngiht as theres are pubs downstairs. It’s ok for 1 ngiht but not shure if for longer ....

The location is perfect - just a 1 minute walk from La Rambla, airport buses, hop on/off buses, walking tours and a metro station just 3 minutes away. The balcony offers a great view of the lively street and palm tree. However, there is a slight smell in the room and the noise from the street, reception, neighbours and door bell went on all night, so it would be wise to bring ear plugs. On one day there was no heating. The toilet and shower being in the corridor was a little inconvenient, but overall okay. Towels were changed daily. There is a nearby bakery that is great for grabbing a morning coffee and croissant. Considering the price you pay, this is a pretty decent stay.
