The stay here was ? with my two teenage besties. The crew was ? and the spot was so ? looking. We had a slight issue with no air con in the room, it got ? but surprisingly the room was peaceful despite the hostel being close to a major street. ?♀️ It was a bit far from the beach but we managed to reach all the main hotspots, clubs, and yummy spots. Plus, the bus stop was ? right next door. ? We even got to use all the facilities and keep our gear until 4am post-checkout which was ?. Highly recommend✨!
Staying at this hostel was a great experience ?! The staff were all really friendly and welcoming, creating a warm atmosphere ?. It was located in an ideal area, with La Pedrera, Sagrada Familia and other areas of interest all within walking distance, as well as a metro station just 3 minutes away which made trips easy and convenient. Plus, it was simple to get to from the airport ?. Cleanliness was also top notch ?, making this a great place to stay! ?
I was really looking forward to staying at this place after waiting two years ?, and I had a good time overall, but there were things that could have been better. The smell of my room was unbelievably bad ?- it was like a sewer! After telling the manager, he just came in with his shoes on and poured some drain cleaner down the shower drain. ? He said it was due to the age of the building, but I've stayed in some old places on my trip and it was nothing like this. The kitchen was really nice ?, but it looked like the staff were using it more than guests. ? As a vegan, I didn't appreciate having to smell frying chicken in the morning either. Then, some of the front desk staff ? had really bad attitudes. It seemed like they would only say "Thanks, we hope to see you again" instead of addressing anything constructive. ?♂️
This hostel offers a great bag storage service, which I took advantage of when I was out and about in the city. The staff were incredibly welcoming and even though I was only making use of their storage facility, they went out of their way to provide me with free WiFi and complimentary coffee and water. The building itself is lovely and the prices are more than reasonable - I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.
This is the perfect place for a first-time visit to Barcelona! It's within a kilometer of Sagrada de Familia and Gaudy Houses and has the classic Spanish home feel. The hostel is full of charm and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful.
