During our stay in Barcelona, my companion and I were blown away by the accommodations. After a cramped room in Paris, we were worried about the size of our room here. However, upon upgrading to a room with twin beds, we were greeted with a stunning and spacious room. The balcony was a lovely addition, and the bathroom was both beautiful and practical. The hotel's location added to the peaceful atmosphere, making it a great escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. Despite the upgrade cost, the hotel was well worth the price for its top-notch service and elegance. We would happily choose to stay here again.
I recently stayed at a hotel in Barcelona from 10/17 to 10/21/2023 and had a less than satisfactory experience. The room we were assigned, number 15, was a nightmare. It was located above the restaurant and the noise from the kitchen staff starting as early as 5:30AM and continuing until 1 or 2AM was simply unbearable. Despite our concerns being brought to the attention of the Manager/Director, no action was taken to resolve the issue. Overall, my family and I were not impressed with our stay at this particular accommodation.
This hotel provided an incredible experience - just a 25-minute taxi ride from the airport and a 5-minute walk from the nearest train station, leaving you only 15 minutes away from the city centre. Once arriving, we were welcomed with a beautiful entrance leading to a cosy reception area, attended by very efficient staff. Our junior suite was situated on the 4th floor, granting us access to a large room with French doors and a balcony. The bed was incredibly comfortable, with soft linen, and the bathroom was spacious, with a great rain shower. Not only was the hotel extremely clean, but the housekeepers kept our room perfect every day. The breakfast was delicious, with chefs preparing the food in front of us - the whole team, from breakfast to dinner and drinks in the evening, were exceptionally polite and friendly. To top off our stay, we were able to sunbathe and relax in the outside garden - the sun beds were incredibly comfortable, and the honesty bar was a great touch. We can't wait to return and explore this 'hidden gem' once again!
This boutique-style small hotel is located in a quiet and safe suburb. The rooms are spacious and have modern furnishings. The breakfast kitchen and staff are excellent. Access to downtown and all of the major sites in Barcelona is about 15-20 minutes away by taxi which costs 10-15 euros. This is a much more economical option than staying in an equivalent accommodation downtown, even if you take a taxi twice a day.
This hotel was such a great place to stay! The staff was so friendly and professional - the manager must be proud of them. Albert from reception was particularly helpful, setting us up with a tour to Sagrada and giving us tips on visiting the Gothic area. Everyone was so great, from the housekeepers to the restaurant staff. The pool and garden were also a welcome location to just sit and relax after a day spent sightseeing - it was simply perfect.
