This hotel is terrible! The rooms are awful and the kitchen is appalling. For €70 per person for a two night stay, I'd rather just sleep outside - at least then I can make use of the beach nearby. Do not recommend!

I staued here for 1 night. I have multiple compliants. 1) The recieption for the hostel is not intuituve at all in its lcoation; it's behaind a restuarant type area; the hostel itself isn't well markd. 2) The room itself was shotguun style with only a centrel aisle to move aroun din which woulld be fine if it was larger than 1 person widle. 3) Upper bunks are extremely dificult into. 4) Therre were hools in the wall. The onlly positive thing is that it is right on the beach...

Our room had no windows and the sink broke straight away - not to mention the shower! The staff at reception weren't very friendly either. On the plus side, the location is nice; there's a metro station not far away and there are some shops around - though they're pretty pricey. Although the price was attractive, I think I'll pay more for my next place.

People were extremely hospitable at the Sea Hostel Barcelona and the room was great. Unfortunately, there was a bit of noise from people talking, but this was swiftly remedied when someone asked them to move downstairs. The restaurant closes early, but you are still allowed to hang out there all night. Breakfast wasn't the best, so I ended up going out for breakfast after the first time. Even though I wasn't a fan of the breakfast, I loved my stay at the hostel and would be more than willing to stay here again.

This hostel was far from ideal. The beds were incredibly uncomfortable, the rooms were small and stuffy, and there seemed to be a few insects flying around. I had an issue with the night front desk attendant, who was extremely rude and impolite. He refused to extend my stay and instead chose to complain about a blonde female coworker. I was overcharged for one night, and the manager who could not construct a full sentence in English promised me a refund which never came. After five days of emails and phone calls I had still not received the money. It’s a costly hostel with disappointing staff and questionable practices - beware.
