Sixties Ramblas
About
The Ramblas with a vintage atmosphere
This time the hotel chain Chic & Basic, which we greatly appreciate, has created a vintage atmosphere from the 60s and is located just off the Ramblas. With a young and colorful decoration with a big sense of humor, and above all thought to be pleasant with nice rooms, air conditioned and quiet. We love the bicycle hire, free wifi and private parking ..

I had the pleasure of staying at the Sixties Ramblas hotel during my recent trip to Barcelona and I couldn't be more pleased. The location was great, just a short walk from the main area, and the service was excellent. The rooms were clean with good AC and the breakfast and bar service were superb. If you are looking to book a double room, I'd suggest going for one with two twins instead as it is much larger. All in all I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Barcelona.
Located in a convenient spot to explore the waterfront, Las Ramblas, and the historical center of the city, this hotel was perfect for catching the hop on hop off bus. It was not the fanciest hotel, but it had all the required amenities. Our room even featured a large balcony. The employees were wonderful, always accommodating and eager to make our stay enjoyable.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
I had an exceptional experience while at Hotel Sixties in Barcelona. From the moment I contacted them before my trip, the staff were incredibly helpful and generous with their time and energy. They even assisted me with arranging transportation for my group of 15 and 20 pieces of luggage. Despite our large size, the staff welcomed us warmly and efficiently. They even allowed us to store our bags without any cost. The hotel itself is beautifully designed and incredibly clean, with well-maintained rooms and kitchenettes, as well as lovely bathrooms. The attached restaurant is beyond amazing, with equally wonderful staff like Olympia and Jakub. I wish I could remember the names of the two women at the front desk during our stay as well, they went above and beyond in helping us with the rooms. I would highly recommend the Sixties Ramblas Hotel - the location is great, being just off the Ramblas with lots of walkable shops, and only a 20-minute taxi ride to the Sagrada Familia and Park Gwell.
Loverly trendie hotel very convienient for La Rambla. Staff were all very freindly and helpfull. Great varriety for brekfast. We had rooms with terase which were a great place to relax after a hot time in the citee. My wief is in a wheelchaire - it worked ok, altough shes had to get out of the hare to fit in the small lifts.
This property is a great location to explore Barcelona’s hotspots such as La Rambla, The Port, The Promenade, and The Gothic Quarter. The hotel is situated close to La Rambla, keeping it away from potential street noise. The welcoming and helpful reception staff are willing to give advice and book local tours. The housekeeping here is tidy and efficient. And the rooms, although rather small, are comfortable and clean. Breakfast is available from 7:30am-11:30am and although it doesn’t change over the course of your stay it is still worth checking out. All in all, this property is a great option for your stay in Barcelona.
