Stayed for 5 nights. Early check in was paid for but on arrival it was not available but the charge was immediately refunded. Check in is through a nearby hotel. Good location for exploring but some walks are long, e.g from the hotel to La Rambla is approx. 30 Minutes. Hotel staff are really helpful and very pleasant especially the young man who runs the roof top pool and bar. Breakfast buffet is plentiful, fresh and delicious. Hotel decor in some places is a little dated but overall very clean.

This hotel was absolutely terrible value for money. My room cost 112 euros, yet it didn't have a window to the outside. The air con didn't even work - it only emitted a loud, clunking noise all night. To add insult to injury, the pool was tiny and the water was a milky colour - it looked like it was full of sun cream or something so I didn't go in. On top of this, no one else seemed to want to go in either; they just sunbathed on the roof. I would never stay at this hotel again.

This hotel was great overall – a rooftop pool and jacuzzi, a lovely dining area with a good breakfast, and the staff were nice and attentive! Unfortunately, our room wasn’t up to par. The aircon was weak and barely worked, only blasting cold air occasionally then turning off for hours, which meant we were quite sweaty through the night. Additionally, our hotel room door did not close properly and could be opened from the outside WITHOUT a key. We only stayed for one night so didn’t realise this was the case until we left. Nevertheless, the hotel is pretty basic and good for a cheap night or two’s stay.

What a surprise! Upon arriving, I found that the hotel appeared to be closed. Upon closer inspection, I noticed instructions for me to checkout the sister hotel down the street. Check-in was somewhat fine, but then I was shown how to enter the hotel I had booked via a series of corridors. Unfortunately, the room I had was small and the wardrobe was broken. Plus, there were no safes in the room which is uncommon these days.

My husband and I stayed at a hotel here for 3 nights last week. Reception was adequate and staff were very helpful. The rooms were shockingly small and cramped, you couldn't move. There was a strong odour in the corridors and the bedroom smelt of stale cigarettes. We were informed that there was a bar and restaurant on the first floor, however all we were able to locate was where they served breakfast. Our breakfast was satisfactory, but this hotel isn't a suitable 2-star establishment. This was our first visit to Barcelona, we enjoyed it immensely - there is so much to see and do - however, the hotel was a major disappointment. I wouldn't recommend this hotel unless you're a student, but I will definitely be back to Barcelona, just not to the same hotel.
