I had a pleasant stay at Zenit Barcelona. The hotel is very close to some of Barcelona's iconic landmarks and is situated in a quiet street. The room was nicely decorated and included a safe, fridge, and a somewhat outdated television with a direct HDMI connection. Although there was an available WIFI connection, it was rather slow and low resolution videos would often stall. Additionally, it was impossible to charge my laptop as the electricity required a card from the hotel. The bathroom was relatively nice, with a shower, washbasin, bidet and toilet; with the only downside being the lack of thermostatic valve, making it hard to adjust the temperature to my preference. All in all, it was a decent stay.
We had a really pleasant and comfortable stay at Zenit Barcelona recently. The staff was very helpful and accommodating, both when we arrived and during our stay, and communication was excellent. The room was big and nice, with a small balcony, a bathtub, mini bar, and a kettle. Even though the furniture was a bit older, the room was very clean. The hotel's location is great, as it's close enough to the touristic sites, but not so close that it's too crowded or noisy. We opted not to have breakfast at the hotel, but there were plenty of restaurants and shops in the area. It was also easy to get around, with lots of attractions within walking distance, and taking a taxi with the Free Now app was incredibly easy and affordable. The fitness room was basic but more than adequate, and the common terrace on the top floor was a nice spot to relax. We would definitely stay at Zenit Barcelona again, and look forward to our next visit to the city.
