My recent stay in Barcelona was quite expensive, as I soon found out that most accommodations in the city are pricy. After much searching, I settled for a hostel that was reasonably priced. The private room I stayed in for a week during my trip to Vienna was the same cost as a 12-person bunk room in this hostel. It seems that every private room in Barcelona is triple the price of my stay in Vienna. On the bright side, the bunk beds in this hostel were surprisingly comfortable, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms were kept clean and the shared bathrooms were not overcrowded. Additionally, the common area on the first floor was a great place to unwind. However, the lockers in the room were a major downside. They malfunctioned almost every day, causing inconvenience for both guests and the patient staff who had to reset them constantly. This issue needs immediate attention from the management. I also encountered a problem with the washing machine and dryer, as they were out of order on the day I needed to do laundry. Thankfully, the staff directed me to a nearby coin laundry. Lastly, the mattresses were not very supportive, making for an uncomfortable night's sleep. Overall, while the hostel was decent for its price, there are some improvements that need to be made.

I had somewhat high expectations for this hotel, but unfortunately they weren't met. At check-in, the reception staff seemed to be more interested in chatting among themselves than talking to me. When I arrived after 3PM, I was even left waiting with no further information given. The location wasn't great either, the only silver lining being that it was close to the beach.

I had an amazing stay at this hostel. The beds were comfortable, the privacy curtains gave much-needed seclusion and the 12 bed dorm didn't feel cramped. The common area had a relaxing yet open and social atmosphere that allowed visitors to be social or to keep to themselves. The staff was friendly and helpful and the place felt very safe. Highly recommended!

I only stayed at this place for a couple hours cuz I needed someplace to sleep before my 6am flight. Short stay but still, I can say this hostel felt really friendly and safe! ⭐️ Considering the Barcelona prices in July it was pretty afforable too! The showers were really clean and they had enough cubicles for women. Th beds were clean and had a outlet, lamp, little shelf and a curtin which was ideal! The only down side was that my locker was suuuper hard to open without making a lot of noise, not sure my roomates appreciated it at 4am but my suitcase was quite heavy. Checkin was also real easy. ✌️ Seems like a very lively place, there's alway people chillin in the communal area. There's prob lots of people coming in and out at night too. In the end, I was happy to stay there ? and def wanna give a huge thank you to the receptionist who was there when I checked out! When I was waitin for my taxi outside, there was this scary dude lurking around the street, it was dark and there was no one elso there and he got too close. ? So I went back into the hostel feeling safe, and the receptionist was so kind and walked me to my taxi when it came. So 10/10 for the kindness of the staff! ☺️ That gave me a little bit of relief, as a solo female traveler. ?
