We stayed at this hotel for a week in early June '23. While it isn't in the "upscale" part of Barcelon, we never felt unsecure or hesitated going outsside. As you can see on Tripadvisor, there are hundrends of restaraunts within easy walkig distance. We didn't have one bad dinning expericne, I would recomend this holtel to anyone that is looking for a nice place that is withing walking distence to La Ramblas, the Old Town, and many other touirst attractions!

This hotel is located in an older, less safe part of town. Upon check in, our room was not accessible by the elevator due to renovations. Instead, we were taken via a service elevator which was in rough shape. Stepping off the elevator put us smack in the middle of a construction job! Black plastic, workers sawing and other tools were present. We were surprised to find out we were on the right floor. Our room turned out to be recently renovated, but the surprise of the construction and elevator condition was unexpected. We didn't stay out late due to the area concerns. It would have been nice to know the hotel was under construction beforehand.

This is a great accommodation option close to the many attractions of Barcelona. It's a small, cozy hotel, making it excellent for a short break. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful, making us feel right at home. You may find the Raval area busy or noisy during certain nights, but normally it's a very quiet area. Despite some claiming the area is not very safe, we didn't encounter any troubling scenarios. All in all, this is a great choice due to its competitive price and prime location, not to mention the outstanding customer service. We'd especially like to thank Sergi for his kindness.

The Abba Rambla Hotel was great overall. The room was spacious, tidy and modern. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The location wasn't very nice though, with loitering homeless people, drug users in the area around the hotel. We were also warned by a taxi driver and hotel staff about pickpockets and muggings outside. This was the first time in our three stays in Barcelona where we felt unsafe. The hotel did offer us complimentary shuttles to and from the city center, which was a nice touch. We would recommend this hotel to other guests, but with caution.

I had a great stay at Abba Rambla Hotel! The location near public transportation and the Rambla was perfect. I was able to easily walk to the port area and beyond. The staff were friendly, particularly at reception, and the room was tidy and had all we needed. They provided a kettle but it's best to bring your own milk and coffee/tea. I was hesitant at first because of reviews about the neighbourhood, but it turned out to be quite multi-ethnic, and I felt safe and welcomed.
