Overall, AC Hotel Diagonal L'Illa by Marriott could be great with a few adjustments. The location is fantastic with easy access to the attractions. The room was spacious and clean with a good size bathroom. The staff were friendly and attentive, though there could be more of them. We received a complimentary upgrade to a family room, which was great. However, the hotel's lack of a cot, tissues and toiletries was surprising and a bit disappointing. There was also the issue of never anyone at the front desk, meaning we had to call someone in on the office whenever we needed anything. On the whole, a good stay but there is room for improvement.
I recently stayed at the AC Hotel by Marriott Diagonal L"Illa for a few days and it didn't disappoint. The hotel is conveniently located, making it easy to catch a cab to any of Barcelona's attractions, and the staff at reception provided exemplary customer service. The Diagonal L"Illa shopping mall is adjacent to the hotel, offering a variety of restaurants and food courts, as well as a supermarket. My room was spotless, spacious, and very modern. The entire hotel experience was top-notch. I'm already making plans to stay here again very soon!

The AC Hotel Diagonal L'Illa by Marriott is a great choice for tourists visiting Barcelona. It's well-connected with the I'lla Mall and having the bonus of being a lifetime Titanium elite had me up-graded to a Presidential Suite. The amenities were wonderful and the view was breathtaking. Breakfast in the lounge was excellent with a wide variety of options and the dinner service too was great. Check in was effortless and the front desk staff, such as Ana, were incredibly welcoming and helpful. I even had taxi bookings made for me to the airport. The housekeeping staff were also very efficient, tending to your room daily. Overall, it's a great choice if you're looking for a great hotel with excellent amenities as well as some delicious food and shopping.
The breakfast buffet is also a highlight, with a wide variety of foods, from traditional Spanish dishes to international specialties. A great value for the quality and I would definitely stay here again.
