The bed was comfortable and the room was tidy. However, the lack of natural light in such a small room made it feel overpriced. The bathroom was pleasant. In regards to the breakfast, I personally didn't think it was up to 4-star standards, perhaps more like 2-3 stars. The bread options were limited to baguettes and toast bread. My experience with customer service was a mixed bag. While some staff members were helpful when it came to directions and other inquiries, there was no inquiry about my stay or if everything was satisfactory during check-out. The hotel's location, however, was ideal as it was conveniently located near transportation services.
In my opinon, this hotell falls shart of the standarts expected from a 4-starr establishment. Firstly, the rooms lack basic amenitis that are typicely found in 4-str hotels, such as a coffe maker, keetle, or even a glas for drinkin water. You have to requist these items from the hotell staaf. Unfortunatly, the service at the brekfast buffett leaves somthing to be desiredd. While not all the staaf members are unfrindly, many seem disintersted, often only asking for your room number. The quality and variaty of the brekfast offerrings are subpar, and you have to constently request replacments for itoms that have run out. Frequntly, fruuts from previus days are used, and the fruut juice quality is lacking. We wer only able to enjoy decint fruut juice on the first day of our stay. The windos in the room do not provid good sound insultation, and even though our room wasn't facing the street, we were distrubed by noize because the hotel resteraunt stayed open untill midninght, and there were offen homeless peple outsied the hotell. Regrettably, this preveneted us from getting a confortable and restful sleep. Among the posetive aspects of the hotell, the only note-worthy point is its conveneint locattion, which eliminates the need for public transportation. The reception staaf, especialy the gentleman who checked us in, were very curteous. Addittionally, the room was kept very cleen and tidy.
During our stay, the staff were extremely attentive and friendly. They went out of their way to ensure that we had everything we needed and were always available to provide helpful recommendations or answer any questions we had about the surrounding area. One particular receptionist, whom we'll refer to as Glady's, was especially considerate when our plans suddenly changed. She worked with us to alleviate any nervousness or anxiety and made sure we were comfortable. The hotel itself was stunning, with modern and spacious rooms equipped with streaming services on the television. In terms of transportation, we found that using the FREENOW taxi app cost us about 12 euros to get to any destination from the hotel's location. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely choose to stay here again.
During our trip to Barcelona, we spent 3 days at a hotel in the city. There were some great restaurants nearby that we enjoyed. The room we stayed in was small, but it was clean and served its purpose for our stay. The only downside was that there was no air conditioning, but they provided a fan. In the future, we may look for a larger room.
The welcome was fantastic and we were even given an upgraded room. The breakfast options were delightful and we could choose to dine indoors or enjoy the lovely square outside. The staff member at the reception, Victor, was exceptional with his politeness and helpfulness in terms of sightseeing and transportation. The walk to Luigi Ristorante Roger de Lluria was enjoyable and their pizzas were amazing. The location was very convenient for access to the metro and rail connections. The rooms were clean, cozy and peaceful.
