The accommodation was contemporary and tidy, conveniently situated near the metro and within walking distance of major tourist spots. The staff at the reception were amiable and accommodating. The rooms were sizable, neat and modern. We opted not to have breakfast included, but there are several charming cafes in close proximity where one can enjoy a scrumptious and affordable meal. My only qualm is that the windows overlooked a courtyard with limited opening, hindering proper air circulation even with the windows left ajar (a minor drawback in the design of the establishment). Furthermore, the walls were relatively thin, causing noise from neighboring rooms to be audible. Nonetheless, it was a pleasant stay for a long weekend.
During our stay in Barcelona, we had a fantastic experience from arrival to departure. The staff at the hotel were incredibly helpful and the overall cleanliness was top-notch. Our room (103) was lovely and the public spaces were beautifully decorated. The cleaning schedule was also well-maintained. The location of the hotel was ideal for exploring the city and all it has to offer, although we definitely regret not having more than our 2 and a half days there. We will definitely be returning and choosing to stay at this hotel again.
During our stay in Barcelona, we were fortunate to have a spacious room that included a king-sized bed and a partition wall with two single beds on one side. This layout was perfect for our family and provided ample space. The beds were exceptionally comfortable and the bathroom was sizeable, spotless, and appeared to be recently renovated. Overall, it had the luxurious feel of a 5-star hotel.
During our trip to Barcelona in April 2023, my family and I stayed at a wonderful hotel. The hotel's location was ideal and the staff were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. Our room was cleaned daily and our towels were changed daily as well. The hotel had a modern design, perfect for meeting the needs of tourists. An added bonus was the luggage room, equipped with spacious lockers for securely storing our bags. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel.
The location of the Acta Splendid Hotel in Barcelona is truly great, with convenient access to the Metro and many of the top tourist sites. The breakfast buffet is simply incredible and the staff were incredibly friendly throughout our 7-night stay. The air conditioning worked perfectly and the bathrooms were well-equipped, with fresh towels provided daily. The beds were also extremely comfortable, making for a truly enjoyable stay. We would definitely choose to stay here again in the future.
