(DO NOT STP HER).
I give only two stars due to the unpleasant experience we had at this hotel. The receptionist was quite attractive, but unfortunately the air conditioning was inoperable and it was over 30 degrees inside our room. Furthermore, it was prohibited to drink any alcoholic beverages in the premises, which was odd for this kind of establishment.
This place had a great price, location and cleanliness of the room, but that's about it. ? Trying to get in with a wheelchair was a mission since the doorbell didn't work. The rooms were small and noisy and even the air con failed multiple times. The breakfast selection was non-existent and they wouldn't offer any kind of alternatives, even if you asked.? The people working there weren't kind and helpful either.? All in all, it really ruined the stay. ?♀️
The kitchen at this particular hotel smells really bad, requiring guests to eat in it. The internet service is terrible, making it impossible to do anything online. Guests are charged for extras like towels, and the main room closes at 1am, forcing anyone who needs to work in the late hours to go to a bar. Other travelers I encountered here had similar negative experiences.
It was advertised as a youth hostel, but this place was far from it. There was an average age of 40+, and mainly single men who were strange and creepy. The communal area was unwelcoming and there was limited privacy. As a young woman, this hostel was the worst I’ve ever stayed in due to the disrespectful, unclean men. One even went as far as to put his dirty pants on my bed while changing in front of me! They advertised free breakfast yet none was provided, and extra fees were required for the facilities advertised as free. Save yourselves the hassle and pay a little extra for a more inviting and enjoyable stay.
