During our stay, the receptionist was extremely helpful and provided us with valuable information about the city. The hotel's location was ideal, with easy access to shopping areas and restaurants. We were so impressed with the service that we decided to extend our stay. The staff were all very professional and skilled. However, the breakfast options were limited, but it seemed to be the case in all hotels we visited.
We were more than pleased with the hotel's ideal location, being within walking distance to both ramblas and paseo de gracia. It was also conveniently situated near Metro and bus stations for easy transportation. The staff's friendliness and professionalism added to the overall positive experience. The rooms were spacious with beautiful decor, and the bathroom was surprisingly larger than any other European hotel we have stayed at.
The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, making our stay even more enjoyable. The room was impeccably clean and well-decorated. The breakfast spread every morning was top-notch, offering a wide variety of options. The location was unbeatable, situated in a great neighborhood with a convenience store just a stone's throw away. It was also conveniently located near the Metro and a luxurious shopping district.
This hotel in Barcelona has a fantastic location and we had a wonderful stay. The staff were fantastic, always willing to help and very friendly. The hotel itself is modern and our room was top notch. The breakfast was also delicious and had a great variety of fresh options. I cannot say enough good things about the Alexandra Barcelona Hotel, Curio Collection by Hilton. The location is unbeatable, just a short walk from the Passeig de Gracia subway station, which also conveniently connects to the airport. For first-time visitors to Barcelona, the city's efficient public transit system makes it a breeze to explore.
The hotel itself boasts a clean and well-designed interior, but what really stood out to me was the excellent staff. From check-in to check-out, they were friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay.
One highlight was the nearby Casa Batlló, a must-see attraction with its unique architecture. I highly recommend taking a guided tour, which can be arranged through the hotel. There is also no shortage of things to do in the surrounding area, with its abundance of shops, boutiques, restaurants, and bars.
If you're feeling adventurous, the old city area is just a 20-25 minute walk away and is definitely worth a visit. The Barcelona Cathedral and its sprawling plaza are a sight to behold, surrounded by charming streets filled with shops and restaurants.
Each day, my mornings started with the hotel's breakfast, which offered a wide variety of fresh and delicious options. The restaurant bar may be small, but the staff were always friendly and accommodating.
Overall, I cannot recommend this hotel enough. My stay at the Alexandra Barcelona was truly excellent and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in this beautiful city.
