My stay at the Andante Hotel in Barcelona was nothing less than outstanding! I was delighted with the level of comfort provided by the super soft bed, and the quiet and clean room. The amenities were up to date and the bathroom spotless. The service was excellent and I felt secure and safe. The rooftop with its pool and bar was the perfect spot to relax and take in the stunning view of Barcelona. The hotel is conveniently located close to the metro and the Rambla area, as well as the old Gothic Quarter. I was also pleased to note that the hotel is environmentally friendly. To top it all off, the breakfast option was delicious and the back terrasse was very tranquil.
This accommodation was simply wonderful! The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the facilities were kept spotless. What was particularly nice was the little pool on the rooftop, perfect for kids. Plus, the breakfast offered a great selection of international food and snacks. We had a great time here!
My wife, adult daughters and their boyfriends stayed at this hotel for two days in August. We were booked for a cruise out of Barcelona and decided to spend a couple of days prior to explore the city. The location is excellent. Just across the road from the touristy Gothic neighbourhood and a 10 minute walk from the waterfront. We felt safe walking in all directions. The main doors, elevators and rooms are control accessed. Check in was great. We arrived at 11AM to drop our bags off at the secure luggage storage room (with individual lockers) however one of our rooms was ready and we were allowed to check in to that room early. The other two rooms weren’t available until an hour after Check in time (3pm) but that wasn’t a huge concern as we were able to change and relax by the pool while we waited. We were also given complementary drink vouchers for the delay. The rooms (we had three) were stylish, comfortable and clean. They do not have fridges though which I think was the only drawback. The A-C wasn’t working great in one of the rooms. The rooftop pool offers a fantastic view of west/north/east Barcelona. The pool is small, approximately 8’x30’, as is the patio. If you get there too late in the afternoon you will likely not get a seat. Towels are available at the pool and there is a cocktail bar. The breakfast buffet was good. 16 euros is about par for what you will pay at any cafe however most cafes in Barcelona don’t open until 8:30-9AM. Overall this hotel is great as a home base for a stay in Barcelona. We would definitely stay there again and recommend it for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to start out and end a day of exploring.….
We had a truly remarkable long weekend in Barcelona that was largely due to the extraordinary Andante Hotel and its team members. Arevik, in particular, was a great help and went the extra mile to provide us with local information, make reservations for taxis and restaurants, and answer all of our questions. The hotel had an excellent location close to a coffee shop, just a 5-minute walk away from the metro and La Rambla. To top it all off, the pool area was an amazing place to cool off and rest. We highly recommend the Andante Hotel!

Highly recommended!
The first time I came to Barcelona, I selected this accommodation after looking at online reviews and seeing that one of their rooms had a stunning view. From it, I could even make out fireworks in the distant marina district one evening - it was an amazing sight. The personnel were always there to respond to any queries I had and kindly provided me with some pointers. It was also convenient to access the sights nearby and pick up the hop on/off bus route. All in all, a great stay!
