The hotel was a suitable option for our stay. The cleanliness and peacefulness of the place made it perfect for relaxation. The breakfast served was delicious and made with top-notch ingredients. I particularly enjoyed their coffee machine. However, the interior of the room was quite disappointing. Despite being a good hotel, there was no attention given to its design. In a city known for Gaudi's art and with a 4-star rating, I expected the room to have a more aesthetically pleasing interior.
My experience was totally positive? - all the reception staff were extremely helpful ??- recommending restaurants etc - the breakfast staff were courteous and efficient ?. The room was large and comfortable ?️and the little balcony was a gorgeous place for a cold glass of wine ? on the evening ?. The position of the hotel is excellent ?. I would definitely stay again ?.
Having read some unfavourable reviews, we were slightly apprehensive. Nevertheless, the room surpassed our expectations - both of us were highly relieved. The check-in process was seamless and the breakfast (we booked it in advance) was amazing. We were more than pleased. The room was spacious and comfy. We even had a sofa and a great outdoor terrace. Everything was spick and span and well-maintained. The housekeeping staff spent time and effort to ensure that. We seriously can't think of anything to complain about. We know and enjoy this neighbourhood.
I wasn't sure if I wanted to stay at a different property in the same area of Barcelona, so I asked 4 critical questions hoping to have more clarity. Unfortunately, a week later I got an email with a convoluted answer to ONLY ONE of the questions. I waited another week and still no answer on the other questions. ? After that, I decided to check the reviews and I'm glad I did. It's clear that the management really doesn't care about potential customers. ? There's definitely no way I'd ever stay there or recommend it. Though the reviews were negative, I can tell you that this place is walking distance to a subway station and there's a lot of shopping nearby. ?️ Do your own research, don't rely only on Tripadvisor reviews! ?♀️
Stayed at this ?? centrally located accommodation and had a ? delicious breakfast and nice rooms. Check-in wasn't the best ??♂️, but the front office and restaurant staff were polite if not overly friendly. The air conditioning worked well ?️, though it could have been quieter. Overall, it was a peaceful and quiet ? hotel, giving us good rest. Definitely a great place for tourists ?.
