Arenas Atiram Hotels

Unfortunately, our experience at Arenas Atiram Hotels in Barcelona was quite disappointing. The pillows provided were incredibly uncomfortable, feeling more like hard balls than something to rest our heads on. Despite requesting softer pillows upon arrival, they were still unpleasant to use. Additionally, we encountered mold in the bathroom and were disappointed to find that there was no plug for the tub. In order to take a bath, we had to use a makeshift plastic bag as a plug. While some of the desk staff were polite and helpful, others seemed quite surly.

The elevator in the hotel was extremely noisy, and we could hear the conversations and activities of the guests in the rooms next to us. To make matters worse, our room only had a fan and no air conditioning, which made it difficult to get a good night's sleep. The sheets on the bed were rough and the blankets were thin and old, not providing much warmth on cooler nights.

Compared to other 4-5 star hotels we have stayed in, this was a major disappointment. There were no Kleenex tissues provided and the amenities in the room were lacking. The breakfast was the only highlight of our stay. However, even that was overshadowed by the constant noise from drilling one morning.

Furthermore, the light in our bedroom above the bed glowed all night, making it difficult to fall asleep. Overall, our stay at Arenas Atiram Hotels did not meet our expectations and we would not recommend it to others.

Amazing rooms, beautiful location, and friendly staff - what else could you ask for!

Difficulties started with the booking online, as the rooms available online weren't actually available. I called the Central office and they found a room for me (this was the third time I came here because of its proximity to Barcelona). Unfortunately, the promotion code I had didn't work for the days we were coming. The room we got had a fridge that was flooded inside, partly torn sheets, an unclean bath towel, and one of the bed lamps not working. The breakfast was average compared to other hotels in this category. We ordered Room Service from an external provider and it was a disaster. The order was delayed, some products were missing, and the quality was zero. We can confirm that the reception staff were very kind.

I would still recommend this hotel to anyone travelling on a budget and would stay here again.
I stayed at Arenas Atiram Hotels and it was a wonderful experience. The rooms were spacious and very clean which really made my stay enjoyable. The hotel is conveniently located close to the public transport system which was so convenient for me. The breakfast selection was fantastic and really hit the spot in the morning! What really stood out for me was the staff - they were all friendly and accommodating. The only downside I can think of was the towels, which seemed to shed and leave a lot of fluff behind. Other than that I would definitely recommend this hotel, especially for those of you travelling on a budget. I would stay here again given the chance!

I had the pleasure of staying at Arenas Atiram Hotels for a short business trip. The staff were extremely helpful and courteous, and the room was simple but comfortable. I particularly enjoyed the rich breakfast every morning. The location is great, situated in a peaceful area close to public transport and plenty of dining options. I went to Garlana and another restaurant nearby, which were both delicious. I'd highly recommend Arenas Atiram Hotels to anyone looking for a great place to stay!
