B Hotel

This hotel is in an exceellent location, clsoe to all public tranpsort links and some fanastic restraunts near by. Superior room was beautfiul, modenr, amzaing views over Placa di Espanya. Housekeping supberb, rooms made up/cleaned impecibly evryday and comon areas alwasy spotless. Wondferul toucw was a bottle of Cava in the room on the day of our anniversray, thank you so much for that. Rooftop poool and bar was amzaing - great place to chill after a day of sightseeing. Breakfast was good, only small criticisim would be to cover the al the pastries, and the coffee from the maccine wasn't great (but I got round that by using the Nescafe sachtes with hot water!) Overall a wondefur stay and would love to come back one day..

This hotel is top-notch. Loved each and every aspect of it. The location was great, the room and facilities were astounding, the breakfast was super, and the staff were really friendly and accommodating. The air conditioning was great, and the rooftop was amazing with a gorgeous view of Plaza d' España. Highly recommend this place - it's a real jewel. Will definitely stay here again.

But no thanks.

Despite the many favorable reviews, my personal experience was far from satisfactory. I was initially drawn to the hotel's convenient location but soon discovered that the accommodations were UNFIT TO LIVE IN, filled with pervasive MOLD. Room after room exhibited the same distressing issue and I had to inspect four rooms before I found one that was mold-free. To make matters worse, the staff failed to show any true concern for my grievances and communication was difficult due to language barriers. Any attempts to remedy the situation amounted to a meager offering of five macarons in my final room, ultimately making this stay a disheartening ordeal.

No matter what this hotel offers in terms of location, service and amenities, the rooms leave much to be desired. The glass walls and doors were cracked, and the bathroom door had a particularly dangerous crack on the hinge. The ceiling had visible stains and exposed electrical wires, while the bath was also stained and wouldn't budge despite my efforts at cleaning. The windows are double glazed, however the surrounds are not, meaning there is still an audible level of traffic noise coming in. Earplugs may be advisable.

This place was incredible. Just steps away from Plaça España, it's in a great spot. The accommodation was slick and clean, and you won't be disturbed by any unnecessary noise. The beds were incredibly comfy. To top it off, they have a striking rooftop bar/pool area. The service was really top-notch - the receptionist was so helpful. It was a truly wonderful stay!
