We had a great experience at this hotel! The staff at the desk were so welcoming and helpful - they even gave us an upgrade on our room. The room was incredibly spacious and clean, and the air conditioning worked well during the hot weather. As a special surprise, we were even presented with a cake and champagne for my birthday. Since there is so much to do in Barcelona, we didn't have time to see everything, so we will definitely be coming back and staying at this hotel again. The rooftop pool and views were absolutely stunning. We highly recommend this hotel - thank you for such a great stay!
We have just had a very enjoyable time in Barcelona. We chose this hotel based on its location and it did not disappoint. We were able to get to a wide variety of locations just by walking, or by using the metro, which is slightly over a ten minute walk away. In addition, the mainline train station is only a few stops away and you can purchase multiple journey tickets. The hotel staff were beautiful and were very accommodating with any requests we had. Our room was always kept clean and everything -including the air con- was in good working order. The hotel is located on a busy road, but I had no issues sleeping as I used ear plugs. There is a public park directly behind the hotel and it offers a nice place to relax in the evening. The pool was incredible, especially after spending a long, hot day sightseeing. The towels were very nice, the pool was open until late, and they even had light food and drinks available. We went to the Picasso Museum and Miro Museum, both of which were incredible experiences. I would highly recommend the Miro Museum and the area around it as there are plenty of hidden gems to be found. The public space, Caixaforum, is also in the vicinity and is worth a visit - it has a stunning terrace. You must remember to book for the Gaudi area in advance as it is no longer free to enter the park. We researched a lot prior to our trip and it was definitely worthwhile. Barcelona has some underlying tourism issues, so please keep up to date with the latest advice online. Lastly, if you plan to fly with Ryanair, make sure the flight back to the UK is from the local airport in Barcelona, not Reus. All in all, the hotel staff deserve a special mention for creating a pleasant atmosphere that made our stay so enjoyable.
The staff I encountered during my stay at this hotel were incredibly welcoming and accommodating ?. My room was modern and spacious, with everything I needed for a comfortable stay ?. I was also very impressed with the upper-level recreational area, which provided a great spot for relaxation ?. All in all, I was pleasantly surprised and feel this hotel provides more than what you'd expect for its 3-star ranking ?.
Marianne at the front desk was very welcoming and accommodating, going above and beyond to assist me with multiple requests. The hotel was situated in a great area, with Starbucks a stone's throw away and several tapas restaurants across the street. Plus, a shopping centre with rooftop eateries! A superb location indeed!.
This hotel in Barcelona is in a perfect central location. It tries to have some innovative ideas in the rooms, yet unfortunately does not have any facilities to use USB equipment. The bathroom was good, but those with difficulty getting in and out of baths may have a hard time managing.
