Barcelona City Hotel

This hotel offers an ideal location in the heart of the city. Although it is on the basic side, it provides guests with all they need to have a comfortable stay. They also provide a nice touch by throwing in some complimentary bread in the common area. Electronic keys provide a modern feel.

I stayed at this hotel and I have to say ? it was a pleasant experience. The rooms were basic, but they provided breakfast upon request. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, it was easy to strike up a conversation. They even had a common room with tea and coffee ?☕️. It was great value for money and so conveniently located near Casa Batillo, only 100 feet away ?‍♀️. Highly recommend it!

I was so pleased with my Barcelona City Hotel stay. It was very affordable and I did not know what to expect after reading the reviews. The location was great, very close to the metro and train station, which made it easy to get around. The hotel was immaculately clean and had aircon. An added bonus was that you can rent a safe for €10 and it's refundable. The staff were all so helpful and accommodating. The breakfast, while simple, was still substantial and very tasty. You were even allowed to leave your luggage after checking out. I highly recommend this hotel, it was perfect for our needs as we were out all day and evening as we explored Barcelona. The surrounding area had some yummy restaurants and many attractions were easily walkable. I would definitely stay here again.

I stayed at Barcelona City Hotel recently and I had a terrible experience. I booked a hotel room for my family, including two children, and paid in full in advance. When we arrived, we were informed that the property was overbooked and we were instead given a room in a nearby hotel - for which we had not paid. The room did not have a fridge or kitchen, not to mention other necessary amenities that would make our stay with the children more comfortable. I contacted the reception desk, but they could only suggest that I contact the support service at booking.com. Unfortunately, I have been trying to get in touch with them for two days but have yet to receive a reply or any type of feedback. I would advise caution when dealing with Barcelona City Apartment and Barcelona City Hotels, as well as when booking through booking.com. The service I received was simply not acceptable.

Stayed at the Barcelona City Hotel and it was great. Rooms were clean and comfortable, had all the necessary amenities. The location is great and very close to some of the city's main attractions. Breakfast was basic with a limited range, but it was good. Dinner menu was a little limited, but the food was cooked to perfection. No windows with a view, however the beds were all comfortable. Would highly recommend and would stay again.
