Catalonia Born

As a repeat visitor, my recent 4-day stay at this hotel was just as delightful as my previous experiences. The staff are incredibly helpful and the breakfast provided is of a very high quality. The hot showers and provided amenities were much appreciated, as was the superb location in the Born area with easy access to the Gothic District and within walking distance to all major attractions. Additionally, the hotel has a bar which is a nice touch. The rooms were comfortable and the housekeeping was up to standard. For those in need of transportation to the airport, the front desk is happy to arrange a taxi with advance notice. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel.

The service provided by the staff was truly exceptional. Breakfast was also of a high standard. The hotel's location was unbeatable. However, I was quite disappointed with the accommodation. The rooms appeared unkempt and the bathrooms were in a poor state, indicating a lack of maintenance. Overall, it did not meet the expectations of a four-star hotel. Renovations are definitely needed.

During our trip to Barcelona, we chose to stay at a hotel in the Catalonia Born neighborhood based on positive feedback from Tripadvisor. Our expectations were exceeded. Despite booking a room facing the street, the noise was completely blocked out by the double-glass windows and blackout curtains. The room itself was spacious and even had a small balcony, although too small for sitting outside. The highlight was the large bathroom with both a tub and walk-in shower. The only minor inconvenience was the inconsistent water temperature. However, the friendly staff and delicious breakfast made up for it. The buffet had a variety of local and international options, and the option for made-to-order omelets or fried eggs was a nice touch. The staff also provided helpful tips for nearby restaurants and arranged taxis for us. The hotel's location was convenient with easy access to public transportation and a short walk to the Barcelona Cathedral area. We appreciated the sense of safety in the Born neighborhood compared to the Gothic quarter. Overall, we were highly satisfied with our stay and would definitely choose this hotel again if we return to Barcelona.

Loved my stay at the Catalonia Born Hotel! ? The location was perfect for exploring Barcelona and the a/c kept my room nice and cool. ? The bed was firm and comfortable, which was a pleasant surprise. ? But the real highlight of my stay was the incredible front reception staff. ? They were always smiling and went above and beyond to help with taxi transportation and restaurant reservations. ?? And after a full day of sightseeing, the rooftop pool was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a refreshing cocktail. ? The bathroom was spacious and well-stocked with shampoo and body wash. ? Thank you, Catalonia Born, for a wonderful stay! ❤️

I had the most amazing experience at the Catalonia Born Hotel in Barcelona. The location was perfect and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Additionally, there were a couple of vibrant bars just 50 yards away where we could enjoy a drink while taking in the beautiful surroundings. Our room was immaculate and the beds were so comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. I can't recommend this hotel enough and I can't wait to return.
