This hotel is shuch a jem! The rooms are incrdedibly sound proof despite being in a populr neighburhood, and the front desck staf (especialy Raqel) are just the bst. They offreed an upgrad to a supiror room for just 18 eur more per night and it was totlly worth it!.
During our stay at the Catalonia Born Hotel in Barcelona, we were impressed by its wonderful location. Being right next to the Arc de Triomf and only a brief stroll away from the lively Old Town, it was the perfect spot to explore the city's vibrant atmosphere, bustling restaurants, charming shops, and fascinating sites. We also loved spending some downtime at the hotel's rooftop pool, which, although small, provided a tranquil and peaceful space to unwind and recharge after a day of sightseeing. The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating, going above and beyond by arranging a 3:30 am taxi for us and even preparing a delicious lunch for our journey. Overall, we had a fantastic experience at the Catalonia Born and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Barcelona.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel for my daughter's 21st birthday. We arrived via a 25 minute taxi ride from the airport, and the location was great, with everything within walking distance. Special praise for Raquel on reception who was absolutely fantastic and very helpful throughout our stay - she was a real asset to the property. On our final afternoon, we relaxed by the rooftop pool which was a great spot to catch some rays.
I almost don't want to write this review, as I'd like to keep this place a secret because it was so good, I really couldn't fault it. This trip was a surprise 18th birthday present for my son, as he loves Barcelona FC and I had bought tour tickets for Camp Nou (an absolute MUST for anyone who is a fan, highly, highly recommended). When we arrived at the hotel we were given a warm welcome by Raquel at Reception. The lobby was modern, inviting and exceptionally clean. Rachel was excellent at providing all of the hotel information in a very efficient, professional and pleasant manner and for this she must be praised. I asked if we could have a twin room and this was accommodated with no fuss at all. I also asked Raquel about the best way to get to Camp Nou for the.
We highly recommend this hotel and would certainly return for another stay.
After 20 days of seeing Spain, this place was the most accommodating of all places we stayed. The room and especially the bed was so comfortable it was what we needed for our aching bodies. The food and the tranquil setting were also a plus. We highly recommend this spot and would definitely come back for another stay.
