During our stay in Barcelona, my boyfriend and I were blessed to have found a hotel with such welcoming and kind staff. Our suite was truly breathtaking, with every detail thoughtfully designed. The highlight of our trip was the surprise cava and balloon arrangement arranged by the staff for my boyfriend's birthday. We were able to enjoy this special moment in the comfort and privacy of our own terrace. Thank you for making our stay truly unforgettable.
During my stay in Barcelona, I had the pleasure of encountering a fantastic hotel with exceptional service from all members of staff. The highlight of the room was undoubtedly the luxurious bathroom, making it the best in my entire trip. Although the windows appeared to open to a less than desirable view, I spent most of my time exploring the city and only used the room for sleeping. The breakfast provided was simply amazing and impressive in its variety and presentation.
The hotel's location was unbeatable and the scenery was breathtaking. Our room provided comfort and the shower was exceptional. The building itself was stunning. We were able to walk to all the necessary amenities and the food options were outstanding. I highly recommend this hotel, it's a winner!
The hotel was decent due to its prime location, making it my sole reason for recommending it. However, I was a bit underwhelmed with the room considering the hefty price tag of $880 AU for a 2-night stay. It was disappointing to be unable to use the outdoor facilities, which were mostly empty, while enjoying lunch from a nearby market, such as baguettes. Apparently, this was not allowed and we were informed that we could only eat in our rooms unless we bought food from the hotel. Additionally, there was a charge for extra milk when we made coffee in our room.
The reception at the hotel was both professional and friendly, which immediately made us feel welcomed. We were accompanied to our room and given a thorough introduction to ensure our comfort. The room itself was fantastic, and the staff were wonderful! As for the location, it truly couldn't have been better - it was perfect for our needs. Overall, our stay at Catalonia Portal de l'Angel was absolute perfection.
