We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The location was perfect, the staff were really welcoming, and we even had the chance to enjoy a delicious Bacardi and Cola on the rooftop terrace with stunning views. The director, Raimon, was incredibly friendly and professional. He was always attentive to any needs and set a good example for the rest of the staff.
I can not say enough about this place. From the moment our taxi pulled up for check-in until we left on checkout, everyone was incredible! The staff were all incredibly friendly. We asked for dinner recommendations and a reservation was made for us within 5 minutes. The rooftop bar was amazing with great drinks and unbeatable views. Even though the pool was small, it was the perfect spot to cool off after a hot day exploring the city. I've read reviews about Barcelona which had made me cautious, but the neighbourhood of the hotel felt safe to me - I would have even allowed my teenage children to take a walk for a snack. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!
From the moment we stepped through the door, it was apparent that we had made the right choice. The personnel we encountered were incredibly helpful, and our room was clean and pleasant. We had an abundance of free drinking water, and the breakfast was delicious. The location was ideal, and it was a treat to have a roof top bar which had amazing views of the main street and tantalizing food and beverages.
We had an amazing trip at this hotel. The location is ideal if you're exploring Barcelona - it's surrounded by plenty of restaurants, close to Casa Batlo and Mila and within easy access to public transport. We got around the city by using taxis, local buses and walking, and there were multiple stops for the hop-on-off buses nearby. The hotel itself is really clean and spacious, and the terrace has stunning views. The rooms were very spacious too, and had comfortable beds and a large bathroom. The buffet breakfast was really good, although we didn't try the room service. The staff were really friendly, but there was one issue - the bathroom doors and walls were made with frosted glass which was see-through, which could be awkward for families with older children.
This was the first time I had gone on holidays with just myself and my 15 year old daughter which made me a bit apprehensive. But the accommodation really put us at ease! We were welcomed to the hotel "early" hours before the official check in time. After struggling with the sweltering heat of Barcelona, and lugging our suitcases around, we were sweaty and in an unpleasant mood. But the reception staff were very professional and warm with us. It only took a few minutes to check-in and soon we were in the cool air conditioning of our room. The hotel really does pay attention to the "small things" that make a great stay. A great example of this was that the air conditioning was already switched on before we entered the room. Plus, the mini bar in the room had complimentary water and juice. The bathroom was properly stocked with towels. The room was extremely quiet, despite having a street view, most likely due to its soundproof windows. There was also a free rooftop pool which was never crowded - usually just myself, my daughter and another couple. We took advantage of the roof top bar, with excellent views, and the attentive young lady serving us our drinks. The surroundings of the hotel were very safe and secure as it was surrounded by high-end shops. All the personnel we came across at the hotel made us feel appreciated and welcome. This is a contemporary hotel with great service and facilities, and very good value for money. I would definitely stay here again!
