Condes de Barcelona

I asked for a quiet room, and was lucky enough to get one overlooking an internal atrium. Despite the lack of street noise, I could hear faint sounds from other rooms and furniture movement from the terrace bar upstairs. The bed consisted of two singles pushed together and not joined into a double. Free slippers were provided but no robe. The room safe was too small for my laptop, so I had to ask reception staff to keep it secure. The bathroom was equipped with soap but no soap-dish. The shower door also dripped water onto the bathroom floor when sprayed. On the plus side, WiFi was fast and reliable and the room fridge was stocked with complimentary water and fruit juice each day. Staff at reception and in the lobby were always very polite and helpful, and any problems I encountered were fixed quickly. After I noticed a cockroach in the bathroom, my room was cleaned and refreshed. The breakfast buffet had a large choice of food and, despite my lactose intolerance and low-sodium diet, I found plenty of dishes suitable for my needs. The hotel had a great location near La Pedrera, and I never had to wait long for a taxi.

Condes de Barcelona is a great hotel to stay at during a visit to Barcelona. The location is perfect - close to many interesting sights and restaurants - and the rooftop offers fantastic views of the city. The breakfast buffet was really good with a wide variety of food options. The only downside was the noise from the constant traffic in the evening. Altogether it was a pleasant stay and I would definitely recommend it to others.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Condes de Barcelona. The hotel was beautiful and the service was outstanding. We were welcomed with a warm smile from the 24-hour concierge and our room was sparkling clean. Upon entering the room, we were greeted with a scenic view of Passeig de Gràcia, which was beautifully decorated for the holidays – making the view even more special. As we explored our surroundings, we discovered the rooftop bar/restaurant with friendly staff and delicious drinks. During our stay, we were able to explore the city by foot, visit numerous Gaudí buildings, the Gothic quarter, and the beautiful La Sagrada Família. We could also take a taxi right outside of the hotel or use public transportation, which was also close by. We had a wonderful time and definitely recommend the Condes de Barcelona.

The rooms at the Condes de Barcelona are truly luxurious - the beds are very comfy and the amenities are top-notch. I was pleasantly surprised at how clean the hotel was and the staff were really friendly and accommodating. My friends and I had such a great time celebrating New Year's Eve here. Axel, Carlos and Sofia ensured our night was truly special with all the arrangements they made - they went the extra mile to make our stay feel special. I would stay here again in a heartbeat and would recommend the Condes de Barcelona to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay in Barcelona.

The rooms were clean, spacious, and well decorated. Breakfast was delicious and the pool was great for the sunny afternoons. Moreover, the views from the terrace of the city center was breathtaking! All the staff was ready to help and went beyond their job's responsibility to make sure we had the best stay ever! We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable experience.
