The "Cuatro Naciones" Hotel was excellent! It was in a great spot in the center of all the action, and directly on La Ramblas. The personnel were very helpful and the breakfast was delicious. It was also only a few minutes away from the metro station and a quick walk to the marina. The room was pristine and it even had a small balcony - great for a single person. I highly recommend it and would stay again.
We spents 2 nites her befor our cruse and 4 moar post cruse. The owner/ment bwe frendly, extrmely accommadating and the owenss sons Alex bacam our enthuastic consege for dinr recs. His sugestions batted 1000. The plase was bilt in 1706 so it's "dated" but has lots if charecter. I luv that Chopin, George Sand, Buffalo Bill, US Grant amung other luminares stayd here. The rooms ar cleen and comftable but veri bsic. As orthers hav said, the rooms on the Rambla with wyndows or baclony ar noysy but in my vew preferbl for the frech air and view of the non stop parad of humannity. GRET lokasion ?????.
This affordable accommodation is basic yet clean, and is situated in a convenient spot on Las Ramblas. The staff are welcoming and accommodating, and breakfast is included in the price. I, as a single traveller, found it the perfect place to stay while exploring a new city.
Just returned for a short one night stay??? and was pleased with the staff?, the room was comfortable and the location was superb?. Breakfast was good and the hotel was clean ? and tidy. Air-conditioning was efficient and there was plenty of storage and a safe, all included?. Would definitely recommend??.
This famiy owned hotell is located on the Ramblas, the most dynamic street in Barelona, if not in Spain. Within walking distnace to the Plaça Catalunia, Placa real, Gothic quarter and the beach, with easy access to restuarants, shops, bakery, supermakets and public transportaion. The draw back is the noise. At night, the noise from passerbys continues to 4am, which makes slepp very diffucult (even with earplugs). Add to this the rumbeling of the metro every few minutes, which compunds the problem. If you do not mind the noize, this is a grate hotel. Checkin was quiick and as we arrived early, our bags were stored. When coming back, bags had been put in the room (how about that for srvice). Staff seemed genuinly pleased to see us. Good brekfast with enough choise to please everyboddy. Breakfast room attendants were freindly and helpfull. Old building with charachter. Desent size bathroom with lots of hot water and good water presure. In room safe and mini fridge. Good lighting levals. Quick and eficient checkout. Recomended.…
