I had a wonderful stay at Duquesa de Cardona 4* Sup. Ruben was particularly accommodating and friendly, helping us to check in well before the allotted time. The staff were all very friendly and made us feel right at home. Rooms were large and spotlessly clean, with double glazing to keep road noise down. The rooftop terrace was a great place to relax in the evening with a glass of wine and delicious tapas. The Olentia restaurant was great for dinner, with a very tasty menu and reasonable prices. Breakfast was excellent, with a vast selection to choose from. The location was also fantastic, very convenient for La Rambla and the cruise terminal, only a 10 minute taxi ride away. All in all I would highly recommend Duquesa de Cardona 4* Sup.
I stayed here for a few nights and it was a great experience. The hotel is located in a prime spot, convenient access to public transportation and close to the beach. The staff at the hotel was very friendly and helpful and they also spoke multiple languages which was very nice. There was also a bar at the top floor which we didn't end up using, but seemed like it would be great for nights out. The courtyard was a bit loud, but it closes early so it didn't bother us while we were sleeping. Our room was great and airy - the windows opened fully to let in the nice breeze. The only issue we had was that the in-room safe did not appear to be working and the shower leaked a bit, but not majorly. They also didn't provide wash cloths. Overall it was a great experience and we would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a central spot in Barcelona!
