This is a very comfortable and clean accommodation option a few blocks from La Rambla. As others have noted, the initial stairs can be a challenge, but thankfully the staff were very kind and helpful with our bags. Continental breakfast is available, though be sure that your reservation includes it. The hotel is close to Plaça de Catalunya, which has hop on hop off bus tour stops, a central subway station, and a Corte Ingles store with a supermarket in the basement. Unfortunately, the location near La Rambla comes with bustle, noise, and crowds of tourists, making it only worthy of four stars. The front desk staff were extremely accommodating and helped us arrange a taxi to the airport. The area is in the mediaeval section of the city with narrow, winding streets that change their names every few blocks - so when you're out, allow yourself time to get lost!

Great value. Freindly staff. Excelent location with a terrace that overloook the plassa. We loved hearin the music and livliness of the city just outside. La Ramblas is a one minute walk away along wtih many options for dinnin and shoppin. Some things to note however, if you're taking a taxi you will get dropt off on the Main Stree and will have to walk to the hotel.

This place is amazing! Located in a historic library, the restaurant offers an extensive selection of vegetarian dishes that are simply delicious. If you're looking for a great city break, this is the spot for you - great food and drinks are always on hand!

L ocation is great near the port/waterfront. I wouldn't stay here again.

We just stayed at El Jardi for a week in May 2021. We had heard glowing reviews from our friends and the location was ideal, but we found the experience overall quite mixed. Our room key had to be handed in at reception when leaving, and the towels were quite thin. We were also charged for a small safe and were unable to sit on the balcony, despite two chairs and a table out there. The breakfast was basic - just a croissant, roll and selection of yogurts and canned fruit, with cornflakes. The price was reasonable at $6, but it's not something we would look forward to. The staff were pleasant enough, but not overly helpful. All in all, it was an adequate experience - the location is stunning - but there are better hotels in the area. We wouldn't stay here again.

The hotel El Jardi was a great base for my stay in Granada. I stayed in a basic room, but was pleased to find it was sparkling clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was fantastic, in the old part of town, with many bars, restaurants, and attractions nearby. The breakfast wasn't my favorite but it was alright. My biggest complaint was with the coffee; it tasted like instant and the espresso machine only had a few options. For a nice cup of coffee, you could just step outside the hotel and find a great cafe. I also had the pleasure of hearing Flamenco guitar concerts from the nearby church, and was amazed by the number of performances and art displays available on the weekends. The best part was that I was able to book directly through the hotel for a much better rate than I was able to find elsewhere. I highly recommend El Jardi for anyone looking for a great and convenient hotel in Granada.
