We were pleasantly surprised by El Jardi. We found it to be a great value for money hotel, based on the Rick Steve’s budget hotel recommendation. The location was outstanding as it was easy to get to all the places we wanted to go in Barcelona, and the hotel was within walking distance to Gaudi buildings, markets, and the waterfront. The balconies had a view of nice palacas, while the wifi was strong and breakfast was included. The only downsides were the noise from the street and hallway/neighboring rooms, the relatively basic breakfast, and the slow elevator. All in all, we enjoyed our stay here and would definitely consider coming back for another visit.
Rooms are very small.
We stayed at El Jardi for 3 nights and had a great experience. The location was ideal - so close to La Rambla and Placa da Catalunya! The staff were really friendly and helpful. I'd recommend it for anyone who's just needing a place to sleep and not looking for much else. Breakfast wasn't very varied, and the rooms were quite small, but that didn't bother us too much. All in all, we had a great stay and would definitely come back!
