We stayed at Gran Hotel La Florida G.L Monumento for our anniversary and it was perfect! The staff were wonderful - friendly and helpful - and the building is breathtakingly beautiful. The rooms are luxurious and the wooden floors, huge bathrooms and bedrooms made us feel incredibly spoiled. The terrace rooms have the most amazing views that make the stay even more special. All so stylish, but without any airs and graces. The attention to details is impressive and the staff are always on hand to fulfil any needs. The pool area is gorgeous and the view from there is simply extraordinary. We would highly recommend this amazing hotel to anyone!
We had a fantastic stay at Gran Hotel La Florida G.L Monumento. The hotel was amazing, with a luxurious and modern feel. The staff was so friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was fantastic, and the restaurant served great food with a stunning view of Barcelona. The pool was really great for the kids, and the view from the hotel was stunning. We would definitely stay here again, and highly recommend this hotel to others.
Thankfully it was repaired by the time we returned. Overall the stay was good and the location is great.
Another great stay at the Gran Hotel La Florida G.L Monumento! The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff could not have been any more helpful. Natalia on reception in particular was always cheerful and accommodating. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by Sergei, who even helped us with our bags and luggage. Giselle on night reception was also really helpful and made us feel right at home. We had to change rooms on the second day, and were excited when the alternative had a balcony. However, the tv didn't work and the bath plug was broken - but the staff sent maintenance up right away. Unfortunately, they couldn't fix it that day, but when we returned it had been fixed and we were able to enjoy a hot bath! All in all, the stay was lovely and the location is fantastic. Highly recommend this hotel!

Overall, Gran Hotel La Florida G.L Monumento has many positives starting with its history and stunning location. However, the service was lacking and there were too many issues that would be expected from a 5* hotel. The room we stayed in felt slightly shabby and we found spider webs on the wall, a damaged electrical socket and a door that had not been closed properly. The breakfast spread was also not up to the mark, with cold scrambled eggs and a bad cup of coffee. What was disappointing was that with the exception of one day, all the bathroom amenities were not provided and even the safety issues were not addressed.
