The room we had booked was supposed to be accessible, but unfortunately, we were disappointed with the accommodations. The chair provided had no arms, there was only one luggage rack, and the bed was so low that it was difficult to get out of without twisting around. To top it off, there was no heat in the room and the evenings were quite chilly, with temperatures reaching 59 degrees or lower. The little heater that was brought to us did little to warm up the room. Furthermore, the accessible shower had a door that didn't fully close, resulting in a flooded bathroom floor whenever we took a shower. All in all, it was probably one of the worst places we have ever stayed at.

During our recent trip to Barcelona, we stayed for 4 nights at a hotel in the city. Unfortunately, we were not overly impressed with our experience. The room was quite tiny and lacking in space for our belongings. The shower was partitioned by clear plastic panels, but unfortunately, there were noticeable gaps between them and the hinges. This resulted in water spilling onto the floor outside the shower every time we used it. We informed the front desk about this issue on the first morning before heading out for the day. They assured us that they would try to fix it and clean the floor. However, upon returning in the evening, we found that the room had been tidied up, but the problem still remained. Two days later, we were told that this was a recurring issue in other similar rooms and could not be resolved. The television in the room was also quite small and only had a limited selection of English channels. When we mentioned our disappointment with the cramped room, a staff member reminded us that we had chosen the smallest room available during our booking. Based on the expectations set by the hotel's rating and price, we were underwhelmed with our stay. We were anticipating a small room, as is the case with most 4-star hotels, but unfortunately, that was not the reality. Overall, our experience was not as satisfactory as we had hoped.

The front of house staff were very accommodating and we were instantly greeted with a lovely glass of cava on arrival. The pool is slightly deceptive as it overlooks the inner courtyard and the path to get to it needs to go through the restaurant patrons. Although the décor was slightly outdated, the hotel was kept spotlessly clean. The location was excellent considering the price and you can get to any of the attractions within Barcelona in 40 minutes or less by foot. We requested an iron and duvet which were promptly delivered to the room. With some minor update, this hotel could easily be worthy of 4 stars.

We were pleasantly surprised when we were able to check into our room early and we even got an upgrade! We were situated on the 7th floor and had a lovely balcony with incredible views. Upon our arrival, we were greeted with a glass of Cava which was a nice touch. The hotel was very neat and inviting, complete with a small pool and sunbathing area. We didn’t try out the breakfast, but it looked amazing. The toiletries in the bathroom were complimentary, and we even had a great coffee machine. The location was perfect, only a 10-minute walk to Les Rambles and other sites. We will surely stay here on our next visit to the city, thank you for the wonderful visit!

This hotel was ?. We were shocked to find out that our family had been robbed while staying there. Despite our efforts to locate the robber, they refused to check the cameras for us. ? We ended up leaving with nothing, having lost our passports, laptops and other valuables. ? For the amount we paid, it was definitely not a secure ? and satisfactory stay. ? We were simply offered an apology, which didn't help us at all. ? We wouldn't recommend staying here. ?
