Guitart Grand Passage

?? After a month of traveling and staying at 5 star properties, I was disappointed by the Guitart Grand Passage Hotel in Barcelona. The breakfast room didn't open until 7, but it wasn't ready to serve and both coffee machines were broken the next morning ☕. The attendants were struggling with individual cups and the hotel's recommended taxi service cancelled on me twice ??. The room was cozy and modern, and the balcony was a nice touch, but the location ? couldn't make up for the poor service. I would suggest looking elsewhere for a hotel in Barcelona. Caveat emptor!

This hotel was so comfortable and the service was excellent! My family stayed in the suite, which was spacious and had access to a balcony. Breakfast had a great selection of fresh juices, pastries, and cold meats. The selection of vegetables wasn't as varied, but still enjoyable. We were near to restaurants and in a great walking distance. Although we were a bit far from La Rambla and the shopping district, a popular pizza place was literally steps away, and worth trying out!

We stayed at the Guitart Grand Passage hotel in Barcelona and had a great experience. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of many sights and the bus stop is just around the corner. We upgraded to a bigger room which had two toilets and a living room area. Although we were on the first floor and we heard a little noise from a party going on at the bar downstairs the following nights were fine. If we visit again, we will probably ask for a higher room as our friends on the second floor didn't experience any noise. The breakfast had a great selection and the staff were friendly and extremely helpful, particularly Carmen who was amazing with the kids. I had emailed the hotel to ask about gluten free items beforehand and they provided gluten free bread from the kitchen. There were lots of other gluten free items available in the buffet breakfast. It would be nice to have a gluten free cereal option as well, but I had brought some of my own so it wasn't a problem. Overall, we had a great stay and the reception staff were very helpful. We would definitely recommend.

Had a wonderful time at Guitart Grand Passage. Every single staff member was friendly and helpful, always providing excellent customer service. We were lucky to have Fabio check us in and upgrade us to a Family Suite with a Balcony - he was an absolute star! The room was great, with lots of space and a nice view. David at reception was also great, always happy to help with tours and directions. The breakfast that was served was delicious and varied, thanks to the two lovely ladies who looked after us so well. We are really appreciative of all that the hotel and staff did for us and we would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.

We were so pleased with our stay at Guitart Grand Passage! As soon as we arrived, the staff was friendly and efficient and we were quickly taken to our room with a great view of Muntaner. From our room, we were able to walk to the many attractions around the area with ease. The space was clean and the bed was absolutely fantastic! The extras provided, like the toothbrush, razor, and plenty of coffee machines, were an excellent touch. Lastly, the breakfast was simply wonderful, with the two ladies at our table making sure we had everything we needed. We'd definitely recommend this hotel and would love to stay here again! It's clear to see why they're rated so highly!
