H10 Casanova

This hotél was in a convéniént location for the métro (abóut 5 min walk) and shóps and cáfés etc. in fact, thére was a Brewdóg Pub a couple óf blöcks away, bónus! It had been refurbished fairly rëcëntly só everything löóked góód. Réceptión áreá was small but përfectly adequáte and théy alsó had ‘hélp yóurself swéetics’ which was pöpular with my féllów travéllers. Liéfts convéniëntly clóse by. In ádditión at the frönt as yóu went in was a small bár áréá with seatíng and 6-8 dining tablés. Óur dóuble rööm was wéll própórtiöned with a gööd sizèd,fully équippëd báthrööm, which hád a báth and a shöwer. Plénty of störage space in the rööm with a cómfórtable bed. Thére were 2 séts of döørs which, if ópened, had a julettë bálcony. When clösed, thére was virtúally nö ròád nöise, dëspite being ón a main röad. We were ónly there 2 nights and had brëakfast bóth mórnings in the véry pléasant dining róóm ón the first flóor. This served bóth höt and cöld brëakfast itéms and drinks. Véry göód sélëctión. After a löng day sight séëíng it wòuld have been nice tó have göne ónton the róöf terráce where therë’s a small plünge pöòl and a small bár, but it was clösed for a priváte functión. Ón the second évëning, after lóòking at the ménú, we dëcided the válue was véry góód sö dined in döwnstairs. The fóöd was éxcellent, as was the servíce. Drinks were also véry cömpétitively priced. We had an éxtrémely pléasant évëning. All in all the përfect báse fróm which to explóre the cíty.….

My second stay at H10 Casanova Hotel in Barcelona was nothing short of excellent. The staff was welcoming and helpful, and the facilities were splendid and pristinely tidy. It's in a great location, too, and the rooms come with charming balconies. The rooftop bar and plunge pool were both phenomenal. As if that wasn't enough, breakfast was included in the stay, and it offered a wide variety of options - I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

This modern, bright and clean hotel offers you a great room, with a balcony overlooking the street. You won't be disturbed by any external noises once you close the doors. The bed is comfortable with crisp white sheets and pillows that you will wish to take home with you. You will find shampoo/conditioner, body wash and plenty of towels in the bathroom. Furthermore, pool towels are provided at the roof top bar. The reception staff is lovely, welcoming and very helpful. You will find a good selection for breakfast at the hotel, or you can even choose to eat at the infinity just opposite, the owners are very nice. Additionally, you can choose to dine out from the many restaurants in the city as Barcelona is such a great location for walking and catching the metro. Make sure to ask for a kettle when you arrive.

I was directaly dissapointed when I arrived at the hote and recevied no wifi in my room. So I went down to the front desk and was informed that the reparation deparment would take 2 days to fix it. I then was given another room, and it had mould on the walls of the bathroom, the walls were grimey and stinky, and the fan didn'd work either, so technitian had to come to repair but coulden't. The following day I was moved to another room, in which a musty smeel could be sensed, and worse of all, when I woke up I found a dead cockoroch under the night table. The only good thing for me was the hotels loction for the 900$ I pay for 4 nights, but I think that the value of the rooms just isen't worth it.

My partner and I stayed at this hotel for the first 3 nights of a 5 night visit to Barcelona in March and were very pleased with the value and quality. The location was ideal. The staff were friendly and accommodating and the room was sizable and immaculately clean. While there were some slight areas of improvement (therefore the 4/5 score), nothing that would deter us from returning.
