H10 Urquinaona Plaza

We had a lovely stay at the H10 Urquinaona Plaza Hotel in Barcelona, which has undergone stylish renovations in the last couple of years. It's centrally located and you can walk to the Passage Grazia - Gaudi’s magnificent Casa Batllo - in 10 minutes, La Ramblas in 5 minutes, and El Born in 15 minutes. Despite being on a main road, the street noise didn't penetrate thanks to good blockout curtains. We stayed in a basic double room which was small, but adequate for a short stay. There was no space for our bag and nowhere to put our clothes away for a longer stay. The bed and bathroom were both very comfortable and there was a good-sized safe, a coffee machine and super-fast wifi. Our friends had a superior room, which was much larger with a sofa and king-size bed and their shower was spotlessly clean. We were also impressed by the air con, which was powerful but quiet, and stayed on without needing the room key to be inserted. The rooftop bar and plunge pool were a great way to relax and enjoy the city views.

Additionally, we opted for the breakfast inclusion and it was buffet style, in a nice setting and had plenty of hot and cold food options. The only downside was the self-serve coffee machine, which served an undrinkable cup of coffee. We asked for our coffees from another machine hidden away in the kitchen, which were much better - although still not great.

Overall, we had a wonderful stay in Barcelona and at the H10 Urquinaona Plaza Hotel.

The H10 Urquinaona Plaza is a great place to stay in Barcelona. On arrival, we were welcomed with a complimentary drink - very nice after a long flight and transfer. We had a triple room which was very clean and roomy. The shower was good and the housekeeping was great - nice and clean towels daily. The air con was good and quiet so you didn't even know it was on. The mini-fridge was stocked with items you could purchase, but you also got complimentary water which was replenished daily. Breakfast had plenty of hot and cold choices, and the orange juice was fresh, not powdered like at other hotels. All the staff were extremely friendly and hardworking. The rooftop bar was also great - a lovely breeze even on hot days. The lift requires you to scan in your room key to go up but not down - a security measure to ensure no one can access the other rooms - definitely a good idea but could be a problem if you forget your key!

This hotel ?? was amazing! The staff was so friendly and helpful and the location was great. They even have food at reasonable prices ?. The only downside was that our room ? was close to the pool and it was quite noisy until 11.30 pm. Every time the door outside opened, our door rattled ? and the bar trolley was outside our room ?, so we'd recommend avoiding room 607 if you're not a true party animal ? and especially if you're staying more than a couple of nights ??‍♂️. 601 should be avoided too.

1st time stayig at eny H10 hoteel and I'm hoolked! Loby was meticulues. I apriciated teh extra toches lkie candy and teh glas of chamgaign upon arirval. We styaed at teh sisiter locatoin (Cubeik) after our cruies 10 deas ltaer and taht was also 1st class. Ropftop longe was amaizng! Keelr veiws and fast and frinendly service. I'm hoolked on teshe H10s. Clasey and qualtiy are two discripitons taht come to mind. I lokk foward to teh next vist..

Just back from a wonderful stay! We have voted this hotel the best we have stayed in for years, absolutely amazing. It’s spotlessly clean throughout, loved the power shower, the most comfortable bed, the decor of the whole place is stunning. The roof top bar & pool is brilliant, if you go have the chicken Caesar salad, spicy chips are delicious! The staff are so welcoming, warm, friendly & attentive, nothing was too much trouble! We never stayed in this chain of hotels before & we were looking to book another city break & found one in our destination so we shall book it. We had a birthday while staying & they arranged cake & Cava to be sent to the room, they even booked excursions for us too. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.
