We spent our last two nights in a stylish boutique hotel right in the middle of Plaza Catalunya and the Aerobus. We booked a Deluxe room and were given room #204 - which had a magnificent ceiling! The room was very spacious and well insulated so it blocked out all the outside noise. The only unusual thing about the room was the sink and bathroom were located as you first walk in, possibly due to the intact ceiling. We had a tasty breakfast at the underground restaurant, although the breakfast at Tarragona was more enjoyable. The restaurant space was also a little snug. All in all, we got a good value for our money - 240 euros per night with breakfast and city tax.
We used the accommodation for a weekend break to Barcelona. We were highly impressed by its immaculate condition and the staff were incredibly attentive. Breakfast was very generous and provided an excellent start to the day of sightseeing. Its location could not be more ideal with the bus stop from the airport and the tourist bus right at Catalunya square. There was also a metro station just outside the front of the building providing great connections across the city. We found many bars and restaurants in walking distance and the prices were very reasonable for such a major city. We would highly recommend this hotel and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
We had a great time during our stay. The location was ideal for exploring the city's hotspots, plus the included breakfast was delicious with great variety. The sleeping quarters were both comfortable and spacious, and included a nice balcony. The customer service was superb, and Ruben at the front desk stood out for his helpfulness in obtaining tickets to an opera show at the Palau de la Musica and a dinner recommendation to a restaurant that we enjoyed immensely. We are very pleased with all aspects of our stay.
This hotel was amazing - the staff were so friendly and helpful. Rosario in particular was amazing, providing us with lots of great advice and information about the city. The location was convenient, and the service was fantastic. Many thanks for an enjoyable stay!
Arrived from the cruise ship early in the morning, around 9am. The check-in staff kindly took our luggage and checked us in for later so we could explore the city and enjoy lunchtime around La Rambla. When we got back, another pleasant staff member completed the check-in process, and then even showed us how to use the spa tub on our balcony. Our room was absolutely fabulous, very airy and clean. Plus there were nice little touches waiting for us, like a bottle of cava. The bed was fantastic and the breakfast had a wonderful selection. Our only problem was that we only stayed one night.
