Hesperia Barcelona Presidente

My experience in Barcelona was not pleasant when it came to the accommodations. Despite the four-star rating, the services at the hotel were lacking. I was disappointed to find that there was no bellman, room service, mini bar, or amenities in the room. It was also unfortunate that the restaurant was under renovation with no temporary option available. To make matters worse, I had to go to the reception to collect food that I ordered from outside. Additionally, the bathroom had an unpleasant odor and the heater was noisy. The baby crib provided was old and dirty. To top it all off, the housekeeper entered our room while we were napping, despite the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door. Upon my late-night arrival with heavy luggage, a baby, and a stroller, I received no help from the staff outside the hotel. The only person who offered assistance was the taxi driver. On a positive note, the room itself was spacious, the largest I had during my stay in Barcelona, and the location was ideal. The hotel also provided water and sweets near the reception. I also appreciated the consideration for dietary restrictions in the buffet, as they clearly labeled which items contained pork (as I am Muslim). The staff at the breakfast and reception were friendly and accommodating. However, overall, I was disappointed with my stay at this hotel.

During our recent stay at a hotel in Barcelona, we were disappointed to find that despite the high price, basic amenities such as ice and soft drinks were not readily available. In addition, the lack of a TV with traditional channels meant we were forced to use Chromecast, which not all guests are familiar with or have access to. When we requested to shorten our reservation by one day, we were met with refusal due to a special event in the city, suggesting that the room we vacated early could have easily been sold for profit. While the location on Av. Diagonal was convenient for shopping and business purposes, we were left feeling underwhelmed by the overall experience.

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The location is great and the furnishings are lovely. However, I did not have a chance to try out the bar or restaurant. One downside is that there was a lot of noise both outside and inside the hotel, making it difficult to sleep. On the bright side, there were plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance. The taxi ride from the airport took around 25 minutes.

This hotel is located in a great spot for sightseeing Barcelona. The staff at the front desk were very hospitable and gave us a map showing where we were. Our room was situated on the 14th floor and offered amazing views of the city's illuminated streets. The bed was large and comfortable, the TV flat-screen, and the wardrobe roomy. Not to mention the mini bar stocked with complimentary water! The en-suite area was well put together, featuring a separate basin and vanity unit with complementary hand soap and lotion, as well as a hairdryer. The shower was large and had excellent pressure, while the toilet had an opaque glass door. We encountered a problem with the empty shampoo and shower gel containers, as we mentioned it to the staff, but they weren't refilled even after 5 days. The room was always tidy due to daily housekeeping service. At last, the breakfast had an extensive variety of hot, cold, and sweet dishes as well as a wide selection of teas, coffees, and juices, which was really enjoyable. I would absolutely recommend this hotel.

We had a pleasant stay. The staff was friendly upon arrival, and our suite was spotless and roomy. Its location had some good outlooks. The only downside was the buffet breakfast, where the scrambled eggs, sausages and bacon were always lukewarm. There was a hot plate and covered dishes, yet the food remained cold. We recommend a manager sample the food to ensure an optimal experience, otherwise our stay was quite pleasurable.
