During our visit to Barcelona in October 2023, we had a wonderful stay at a hotel in the heart of the city. We took a taxi from the airport, and the driver was not only friendly but also provided us with helpful information. Upon our arrival, the staff assisted with our luggage and allowed us to store it until our room was ready. The 24-hour reception was very convenient for us. Our room was clean and well-stocked with plenty of towels. Additionally, the hotel has a small shop at the front desk where you can purchase water and snacks at reasonable prices. The beds were comfortable, and the location could not have been better. We were steps away from the La Palmera restaurant, which was perfect for late-night meals. The Metro station was a short 3-minute walk, and the famous Ramblas street was only 2 minutes away. The market was just around the corner, adding to the convenience of the hotel's location. Despite being in the city center, we had no issues with noise during our stay, and the staff were incredibly kind and accommodating. We will certainly return to this hotel on our next visit to Barcelona.

Beautiful and cozy place, very clean and comfortable. Perfectly located and with friendly and accommodating staff. Rooms are small and come with all necessary amenities, as well as air-conditioning. There is a nice small balcony included and basic room services. 24-hour concierge is also available. Highly recommend staying here.
We weren’t expecting much for the price and only wanted somewhere to sleep, but were pleasantly surprised with the accommodation. The location was great and staff were very helpful and friendly. The decor was modern and the place was spotless - even under the beds. Plus, the beds were so comfortable, which my mum really appreciated due to her chronic hip and back pain. As an added bonus, the room was cleaned every day. For the price we paid, it was fantastic value - it certainly made our first visit to Barcelona even better. If we go back, this is the place we’ll stay again.
We flew in from France and, upon our first time to Barcelona, were pleasantly surprised with the location of this hostel. Just a couple minutes walk away from Las Ramblas and one minute from La Boqueria, it was perfect for our needs. Not to mention the convenient starting point for Le Merce. Our room was spotless and spacious, with a little balcony which was a great addition to our mornings. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us, making it a highly enjoyable stay. We look forward to coming back and will definitely be rebooking here. Much appreciated!
I'm pleased with the stay at Hostal la Palmera. The place was exceptionally clean and the staff was incredibly friendly. Just 30 seconds away is La Boquera mercat, the best open market in the city. It's the perfect spot to find fresh groceries, have breakfast, or grab a snack or a drink.
