The hotle was amazing, probably one of the greatest locations in Barcelna. The staaf were very ncie andhelfpul. The rrom and the bd were cozy, intresting and impresive interor desing. The breafkast was dleicious, althought the slection could use some imporvement. Highley recoommended!
During my solo travels, I stumbled upon this gem of a hotel and it quickly became my top choice for accommodation. The hospitality and attention to detail made me feel like part of the family. Despite the small size, the rooms were equipped with all the necessities and added luxuries like fresh flowers and a variety of toiletries, including slippers. I must also give a shoutout to the amazing staff, especially Thor, Augustina, and Soungalo. I am already planning my next trip back to this captivating city.
My partner and I had a wonderful stay at a charming boutique hotel in Barcelona from October 10-14. Our cozy double deluxe room, number 203, was perfect for our short stay. We were welcomed warmly by a bellhop and two front desk employees who were eager to show us around. After getting settled, we were given a glass of bubbly and a thorough rundown of the city, including helpful recommendations from a staff member who seemed like a seasoned pro. Despite being a trainee, he did an excellent job. Some reviewers have mentioned that the rooms are on the small side, and they were right. However, the hotel is transparent about this on their website. Despite the compact size, our room was stunning with its elegant wood panels, art piece displayed in glass, and a wraparound balcony with beautiful views of Las Ramblas and the Cathedral. The soundproof glass and blackout curtains were also a nice touch. We especially loved the distressed leather daybed/sofa, perfect for curling up with a good book. The bed was firm and the pillows were just right for a good night's sleep. The bathtub, though not very deep, was still relaxing and the complimentary rose added a special touch. The hotel's pool and terrace were never too crowded, and we enjoyed sipping on cocktails served by a friendly bartender. The pool was a bit narrow but again, the hotel does not hide this in their photos. Overall, we loved the authentic Spanish feel of this independent, non-chain hotel - it was like staying in a museum and being treated like family by the staff. We hope you have a similarly wonderful experience.

During my recent stay in Barcelona, I had the misfortune of being kept awake all night at the hotel I booked for a pre-flight stopover. Despite requesting a peaceful room for a restful sleep, I was continuously disturbed by loud noises, resembling furniture being moved, every hour. To add to my disappointment, the receptionist immediately offered me an upgraded room for an additional 100€, which I declined. It seemed as though they were aware of the noisy room they had given me. The next morning, I expressed my concerns to the manager, who showed remorse and promised to email me with an explanation. However, I never received any communication from the hotel. I have stayed at many luxurious 5-star hotels, and this one definitely does not meet those standards. It is small, dimly lit, and lacks necessary amenities. With numerous options available, I suggest looking elsewhere for a pleasant and peaceful stay.
My stay at the Hotel Bagués in Barcelona ? was not what I expected. The ? did not make it clear that the rooms were quite small, and they were not accommodating when my partner and I asked to stay in the same room. ? Despite our plea for help, there was no compassion to assist us in finding a solution. I regret to say that I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. ?
