Hotel BESTPRICE Diagonal

I made a reservation for this hotel through booking.com. Although they were able to pre-charge my credit card through the website, they requested that I pay the entire amount upfront through a third-party app. I declined and in response, they falsely reported to booking.com that my card was invalid, even though they never attempted to charge it. This seemed suspicious and potentially involved in a scam. Ultimately, I refused to pay and my booking was cancelled.

This hotel was a great choice for a short stay in Barcelona. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and we were even able to check in early. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable and equipped with a free in-room safe. The hotel also had fast Wi-Fi. The lobby also offered snacks and drinks to purchase. The bathroom was a bit small, as was the shower. Being located just a couple of miles from the city centre and a 10 minute walk to the beach, it was in a great location. There are plenty of nearby bars and cafes for drinks and snacks, and the Diagonal Mar shopping centre is also close by. The hotel is well connected, with a tram stop across the road and number 7 bus (stop outside hotel) that takes you straight to the city centre in 10 minutes. With a regular service including a night bus, all you need is a contactless payment. There is also a Metro Station two minutes away. We enjoyed the location so much that we went to the beach a couple of evenings.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel recently. The rooms were fantastic, the staff was very friendly, and the bed was huge! Plus, the pressure of the shower was fantastic - something my girlfriend and I had never before experienced in the five weeks of our travels. The only slight downside was the lack of a fridge and kettle, both of which would have been nice to have. The location was also great - just a short walk from the beach.

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and it was amazing! The room was spacious enough to accommodate our family of 5 (2 adults and 3 kids aged 16, 13, 12); something not always easy to find in Spain. The hotel was 7km away from the Barcelona center, but there was a bus and tram stop right in front of it. Also, there was a metro stop only 200m away, making it very simple to get to the center. The staff was super friendly and helpful, and the rooms were cleaned every day. The beds were incredibly comfy ?. All in all, an amazing stay which we would definitely repeat if ever in Barcelona again ? ? ? ? ?.

I recently stayed at Hotel BESTPRICE Diagonal and was very pleased with my experience. The room was very affordable, clean and modern, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I was also pleasantly surprised to find that breakfast was included at the cafe next door. The only minor drawbacks for me were the poor ventilation in the room (there was an aircon but it was centrally controlled, making the room stuffy) and the fact that they don’t accept AMEX as payment. Nevertheless, I would definitely recommend this hotel.
