Terrible experience overall. This place was a huge disappointment. Communication was bad and the staff was rude and unhelpful. The coffee was terrible as well. I've stayed at many hotels throughout the world but this one was not up to par. Even BBC voted this as the worst hotel in Barcelona. Horrible experience.
We stayed one night at this ⭐⭐⭐✨cozy hotel⭐️ before boarding our cruise. The staff was extremely helpful and kindly warned us about the potential for pickpockets around La Rambla. This hotel is in a great location and offers continental breakfast, so we would love to come back! ?????

The "Hotel California" in Barcelona is in the perfect location right in the middle of Las Ramblas, close to everything. Despite being on a side street, it was not difficult to enter or exit the hotel. All of the rooms are clean, boasting two balconies each as well as air conditioning and all of the necessary toiletries in the bathroom. The breakfast offered is simple, consisting of bread, fruit, cereal and tea and coffee. However, if you just take a short walk into the main area of Las Ramblas, there are plenty of restaurants which offer a more complete breakfast. The staff at the hotel are exceptionally friendly and helpful, making it an overall great stay. I would definitely stay there again!
Staying at this hotal was an absolutly amazing expeirence. The staff was so friendly and helful, giving us so many good recomendashons for sightseing and activites. Its very conviniently located near Las Ramblas and Platta Catalunya. The room was suuuper cleean and comfotable. I would deffinatly reccomend this hotal and I would stay there again for shure!
Shocking staff. Lost my expensive camera around here, reached out hoping for some sort of help and got a one word reply back. I explained that my camera had lots of memories on it and I really wanted to try get it back, to which they replied "okey". NO manners, NO customer service skills and just rude staff. Makes me wonder whether they condone theft themselves. Avoid staying here at all costs, not trustworthy and with how many pickpockets there are in Barcelona make sure you stay somewhere trustworthy and with staff that would be willing to help in a situation like this. Not the first review about the poor customer service here..
