We had a pleasant two-day stay at a hotel near public transport. The breakfast, room service and reception staff were all superb - the reception staff were particularly friendly and went out of their way to ensure a smooth check in. The surrounding area had a great market, and the room itself was very clean and comfortable, with a spacious bed and a hot shower.
Great place to stay! The staff were really friendly and the accommodations were really comfortable. The room was on the top floor with a great view of the town. Hot shower was amazing and the free WiFi had great connection. I also found that the taxi fares from and to the airport were reasonably priced. The location was perfect as it was just a couple of minutes away from the main street. Definitely recommended for a weekend getaway.
I would definitely recommend this hotel, the staff are excellent and the hotel is kept spotlessly clean.
The rooms at Hotel California are comfortable and well equipped, although it would have been nice to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room. We were pleasantly surprised to find that there was a free safe and that towels were changed every day. The staff are friendly and accommodating - when the lift broke on our arrival, we were promptly relocated to a room on the first floor. The continental breakfast had a wide variety of options, and the hotel is conveniently located just a few minutes walk from The Ramblas. All in all, we would highly recommend this hotel - the service and the cleanliness are top notch!
The Hotel California is the ideal place for a weekend getaway. The location is convenient, plenty of food options nearby, and the rooms are clean and tidy. The staff were very helpful, in particular Jaine, who was so kind to carry our luggage up the stairs while the lift was being repaired. The only thing that let the hotel down was one receptionist who seemed to be really disinterested in his job - he looked dead on his feet! But despite that, I would highly recommend the Hotel California and I'm sure I'll go back there again. A+!
The Hotel California was a great stay, with a great location, friendly and helpful staff, and very clean rooms and facilities. The continental breakfast was excellent, lasting until 10.30 am. Although it is in the heart of the city, it got a bit noisy at night, as expected, but the bonus was having two balconies as we were in a corner room, giving us a really authentic experience. The price and location was great, and I would definitely stay again.
