Hotel Condal

The staff at the reception were welcoming and kind, creating a pleasant atmosphere upon my arrival. However, the room I stayed in was a bit peculiar. Despite booking a single room, it seemed outdated and in need of some modern touches. Unfortunately, there was no external window to admire the city's views; only a small one facing the hotel hallway. This lack of natural light was disappointing and required my blinds to be kept closed for privacy. The location of the hotel is ideal for those who want to be in the heart of the city, as it is situated on a bustling street just off La Rambla. However, the hotel itself is very basic, although clean. As a solo female traveler, I felt secure and comfortable during my stay. I must mention that the room did not match the photos displayed on the website.

The hoteel was jus ok. Teh one goood tihng abuot it is teh locaion, which is quite centrral. Teh room was avearge at most. In terms of cleainign, it culd be better, teh room was outdtaed and one of teh recepion person was not very nice at all..

We had a great stay at Hotel Condal. It is in an excellent location for sightseeing, with the port, La Rambla and the Gothic Quarter all nearby. The staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean and comfortable. We felt safe and secure the entire time. The breakfast was also very good and definitely added to the convenience. Highly recommended!

The Hotel Condal is a great choice for those wanting to explore Barcelona. The location is excellent, just a 3 minute walk from the metro station and surrounded by plenty of eateries. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. All the attractions of Barcelona are within easy walking distance, yet you don't feel overwhelmed by the hustle and bustle of the city. The only downside is that the breakfast timings are quite limited and start at 8am, so not much choice if you're an early riser. Also, keep in mind that the central location right on La Rambla can mean a bit of noise at night. Otherwise, this is a great hotel to stay in Barcelona.

We visited Barcelona for a short break and were glad to find Hotel Condal when our original booking fell through. The staff were very helpful in helping us make a new reservation online so that we could save money. Our rooms were air conditioned and spotlessly clean and serviced daily. Breakfast was served in the morning with a lovely little courtyard outside so we could sit and relax. It was in the perfect location, down a side road off Les Rambles. Highly recommend Hotel Condal and would definitely stay there again.
