I was pleasantly surprised by the stunning surrounds of the Hotel Continental Palacete and was further astounded by the excellent service, friendly customer service and gorgeous decor. Their snack bar is open 24/7, making it especially convenient for guests. Considering the fantastic location, superb service and breathtaking views, the prices are very reasonable. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone!
We stayed in a lovely exterior room with a small bay type window and table - room 122. An excellent location just off the Rambles, we were able to walk to many major attractions in Barcelona. Breakfast was included and served in a gorgeous dining/sitting room, making us feel like royalty, and snacks were available all day - great for a pick-me-up before those late hour Spanish dinners. They even had wine and beer to choose from. The staff were really helpful and friendly. The only downside is having to lug luggage up a flight of stairs before using the small elevator.
Gorgeous hotel, great location, what a find! We were greeted with a smile from the second we stepped inside. Our room had such a luxurious feel, with the most comfortable beds and linens. And the view - wow, nothing could beat it. The espresso bar and delicious tapas were the perfect ending to a long day. The concierge service here was second to none, helping us book a private tour of the city. Highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again!
The owners at Hotel Continental Palacete went above and beyond to make sure my stay was perfect. The warm atmosphere, the attentive staff, and the amazing grand salon concerts made it even better. The location was ideal for me with so many tapas bars right in front. I was lucky enough to be invited to one of their concerts which was a spectacular experience. Not only was the music wonderful, but the cava (Spanish champagne-style sparkling white wine) was flowing freely. During my stay I unfortunately suffered a broken arm, but I was well taken care of by the hotel staff who were more than helpful. Hotel Continental Palacete remains the perfect place to stay in Madrid!
My partner and I had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Continental Palacete in Barcelona! The hotel was impeccably clean, and all of the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and decorated with a modern touch that made it feel comfortable and inviting. The highlight of our stay was definitely the 24 hour free buffet. Every morning we enjoyed a selection of pastries, fruits and other snacks, while the nightly buffet featured delicious frozen yogurt and a variety of hot dishes. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Barcelona - it's within walking distance to La Rambla and the ornate dining area gives you the feeling of being in a palace!
