Hotel Continental Palacete

I recently stayed at the Hotel Continental Palacete in Barcelona for a 2 night stay. From the moment I checked in, the customer service was impeccable. Everyone was friendly, accommodating, and very helpful. We stayed in the Versailles Suite which was lovely and spacious, although the room and carpets could use some updating. The bathroom was very clean and well maintained. The kitchen is purported to be open 24 hours a day, and their selection was great. They had a variety of salads, cereal, crackers and other offerings, with drinks such as beer, wine, and coffee always available. I enjoyed my stay here and found the atmosphere to be elegant and charming, a hint of what travel to Europe used to be like. Highly recommend if you're looking for a unique experience.

I recently stayed at the Hotel Continental Palacete in Barcelona and I was enchanted. This gorgeous boutique hotel has been around since 1826 and its atmosphere is amazing. The decor has a beautiful 19th century elegance to it, while the furniture is both beautiful and fully functional. But that's not all. Each room is equipped with all the modern amenities and comforts one could ask for, such as TVs, refrigerators and microwaves, thick bath towels and amazingly comfortable mattresses. The staff at the front desk could not have been more helpful and accommodating. I was also delighted with the complimentary 24-hour buffet with a great selection of fruits, cold meats and salads, an array of breads and pastries, wine, beer, juices, soft serve ice cream, and an expresso machine. Breakfast was also delicious and offered a great range of hot and cold options. I can only say that staying at the Hotel Continental Palacete was an unforgettable experience.

We stayed at Hotel Continental Palacete in Barcelona for two nights, and our superior double room had a view of the main street. It was a beautiful and charming hotel, and all the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The room was ready upon our arrival, although they still invited us to have a drink while they finished up, and showed us the buffet and drinks area. The room was clean, comfortable and the perfect size, as was the bathroom. The food and wine were great, and the coffee machine with freshly ground coffee was a great bonus. We also appreciated that there was a microwave so that we could heat our food up for an evening meal, and it was handy that staff contacted us before our stay to welcome us. The meatballs were particularly good! All in all, it was a great stay.
