Had a great stay at this hotel! Staff were so welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was amazing, with plenty of fresh fruit, orange juice, cooked eggs and bacon, and pastries. Although the rooms were a little small, the service to them was great. ? ? ? ?
I had an amazing experience staying at the Hotel Granvia for a night while celebrating my parents' 50th wedding anniversary. The hotel has a wonderful and charming atmosphere thanks to the helpful staff that manages it. Additionally, the hotel is very conveniently located if you wish to explore the city of Barcelona, as it is close to La Sagrada Familia and a train station that connects you to the rest of Catalonia. There are plenty of facilities available and it is overall an extremely pleasant stay, which I highly recommend.
This place is simply amazing! Everyone on staff we encountered was incredibly welcoming and hospitable. The gentleman who checked us in, Andreas (sorry if the spelling is off), was especially helpful; he answered all our questions and gave us useful tips that really made our trip in Barcelona that much more enjoyable. On top of that, they even provided a wonderful and unexpected birthday surprise for me - thank you so much! I can't recommend this place enough and certainly look forward to staying here again!
I would strongly endorse this accommodation. The room was more than adequate, with a sizeable bathroom and all was clean and well-appointed. The hotel boasts an attractive old architecture, yet the room was modern and featured a safe and mini fridge. It was easy to access the room with the elevator. Despite the fact that the accommodation was on a busy street and our room faced it, it was quiet as the soundproofing was efficient. Breakfast was good, and the staff was both friendly and accommodating, speaking English fluently. The location was ideal, with a metro stop, plenty of taxis, shopping options and delicious restaurants nearby. The pricing was very reasonable compared to some of the other hotels in Barcelona. We'd certainly be back.
Stayed in this hotel and had mixed feelings. The key card lock system for the elevator was useful, and the bed was quite comfortable. However, the poor WiFi service and the fact that the drains were laid out on the bathroom floor were disappointing. The room was small but cute. The reception staff were helpful, and allowed us to store our bags until we had moved on to another hotel a couple of blocks away, which is cheaper and remarkably better.
