? I recently stayed at this hotel in Barcelona and I must say, I was impressed! The ????????? ???????? was in a prime location near the port, Columbus monument, Las Rambla and the Gothic Quarter. ? I was especially taken by the stunning former main entrance. However, I couldn't help but notice that some of the interior spaces were overly modernized, taking away from the period charm of the property. ? Nevertheless, my room was still very ????? ??? ????????, with a spacious bathroom. ? I had booked a room with a double bed and a single bed, but ended up with three single beds. Despite this mix-up, the ????? ???? ???????? during my stay. ? Overall, I enjoyed my experience and would consider staying here again.

We stayed in this hotel for four nights and it was an amazing stay! The staff were friendly, accommodating, and very helpful, especially the girls in the breakfast room. The location was perfect for those wanting to be close to Barcelona's Gothic area, and close to Barceloneta. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone.

What a blunder! Out of all the accommodations in Barcelona, this one was an unfortunate choice. Absolutely unbearable beds, staff not willing to provide us with a room for two, and no assistance whatsoever. Highly unhelpful and rude personnel, plus walls so weak you could barely keep quiet. Its basic amenities and highly pricey rates made this experience even worse. We strongly advise you to avoid this place.

This hotel lacked the air of a four star establishment. The room was situated internally, with a window overlooking an atrium with minimal daylight and a corridor across which people constantly walked. The windows were frosted glass, meaning there was no view and the room felt quite darkened by the colour of the decoration and furnishings. The bathroom was serviceable but lacked the toiletries you would expect from a four star hotel. The breakfast was presented nicely but didn't stay warm for long and had poor service. The building itself is handsome and the location is great – a few minor improvements would have made it a four star hotel. There was no bar and room service was the only meal option. The bed was not my taste for comfort, being on the small side for a hotel of that grade. It's a shame the hotel owners have not spent the necessary to bring the hotel up to the four star standard it could easily have achieved.

I stayed at Hotel Medinaceli and was truly impressed! The location couldn't be better - right next to the Ramplas and the Gothic area, everything was within walking distance. The staff were so helpful and friendly and the hotel was extremely clean throughout. We had a lovely variety of food for breakfast, and there's even a supermarket, mini markets and a few restaurants nearby. The rooms were so spacious, especially those overlooking the front. It's actually a historic building that has recently been renovated, so really kept its old charm! I had a great time here, definitely recommend!
